To achieve her braided ’do, celebrity hairstylist Laura Polko blow-dried her hair, added a few clip-in extensions for volume and straightened her tresses in sections using the 1.75 Uberliss Titanium Flat Iron. Next, she plaited a small section from behind her ear and wrapped it around her head at the hairline, securing with bobby pins. For extra flair, Polko added pink and gold hair glitter to the braid to complement Justice’s multicolored Versace dress, which she paired with edgy Swati Dhanak earrings.
Justice’s “fun and flirty yet effortlessly sexy” makeup coordinated with the rose and gold sparkles in her hair. Since her glam had to last through six different outfit changes (if you count the former Nickelodeon star’s Donald Trump impression), celebrity makeup artist Lusine Galadjian began her “clean, glowy” glam with e.l.f.’s Hydrating Face Primer. After applying foundation, highlighter and bronzer, Galadjian emphasized the pink in her hair with e.l.f.’s Berry Merry blush, which matched her Beautifully Bare Satin Lipstick in Touch of Blush.
Justice entered the awards show on top of its signature surfboard in a vibrant pink-and-blue, custom-made, TCA-themed crop top, hot pants and bomber jacket. Polko kept Justice’s hair in its sleek, straight style (sans braid), while Galadjian highlighted the colorful style with a berry lip. “I relied on fun lip colors to go with each outfit — it altered her look just enough to keep things fresh,” Galadjian told Us Weekly of the quick beauty changes between stage times.
For her Diane von Furstenberg dress, Justice kept her locks down and parted in the center, adding extra oomph with exposed bobby pins on the sides.
Her makeup also reflected the ’70s style of the frock: Galadjian chose e.l.f.’s Matte Lip Color in Natural, layered with the brand’s Moisturizing Lipstick in Party in the Buff for a multidimensional, nude effect. To keep her face shine-free, the makeup pro relied on e.l.f.’s Mattifying Blotting Papers. “[They] take away any shine around the nose area and forehead,” she told Us.
The Fun Size actress continued her streak of eye-popping getups with colorful separates from Death by Dolls. Keeping her hair in its glossy, sleek style (Polko touched up her locks backstage with the Uberliss Flat Iron), Justice kept the fun going in her makeup with the pinkish nude pout of e.l.f.’s Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose. "I put foundation over her entire lip after I cleaned it to be able to start with a new lip color on a clean canvas," Galadjian tells Us.
Justice ended the night in a sultry navy gown with gold pin stripes, and showed off a brand-new hairstyle. “For Victoria’s final look, I used a small amount of Uberliss’ Nutritive Mask for slight hold, like a pomade,” Polko explained to Us. She gathered the hair into a low pony, braided the tail and secured it with an elastic. Galadjian played off of Justice’s Americana dress with e.l.f.’s bright red Matte Lip Color in Rowdy Rouge. “[It] was the perfect finishing touch to her patriotic look,” she told Us.
