Network: Lifetime

The psychological thriller series You aired on Lifetime in 2018 and is based on the book series by Caroline Kepnes. Season 1 follows bookstore manager Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) as he falls in love and develops a dangerous — and eventually, deadly — obsession with Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail). He later moves from New York City to  Los Angeles, where he meets chef Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), neighbor Natalie (Michaela McManus) and librarian Marienne (Tati Gabrielle). While Joe attempts to outrun his past and change for the better, he can’t help but return to his old habits.

You was initially renewed by Lifetime for its second season but moved to Netflix in 2019, where it became a major success.  Seasons 3 and 4 aired on the streaming platform in 2021 and 2023, respectively. In March 2023, Netflix announced the fifth season of You will be the last. It is set to premiere in 2024.
