During the Tuesday, August 11, episode of her “Candace Cameron Bure Podcast,” which took a look back at her season 4 interview with Revere Church pastor Bianca Juarez Olthoff, the pair discussed how their biggest insecurities have been turned into their super powers.

Olthoff, 46, kicked off the conversation, revealing that she was illiterate as a child and made fun of in Sunday school before asking God to teach her how to read.

Once she could read, she vowed to give God her “voice,” saying as a global speaker she takes God’s words and uses them to “preach” and to “speak.”

“I believe there are people out there who your greatest embarrassment is going to be the thing that God uses to bring freedom to many people,” Olthoff explained.

Cameron Bure, 50, was in total agreement, telling her guest, “I get a lot of criticism for my voice.”

The Full House alum grabbed a box of tissues as she started to tear up over the topic.

“People always comment [on] how annoying my voice is,” Cameron Bure continued.

Olthoff was taken aback by the confession, asking, “Wait, the sound of your voice?”

“Mm-hmm. All the time,” Cameron Bure replied, claiming that she’s heard haters say things like, “Oh, I turned off my TV because her voice is so annoying.”

The actress admitted, “It’s a lot. It’s the one criticism I constantly hear is my voice.”

Cameron Bure noted that like Olthoff, she’s chosen not to let the trolls get her down.

“I started reading the Bible on my socials just because while I’m doing my daily reading, whatever is speaking to me I just want to share that,” Cameron Bure explained, noting it’s usually “just a few verses, maybe a paragraph” on her Instagram Stories.

Despite being self-conscious about her voice, Cameron Bure shared that the readings have given her more confidence.

“I’ve never had more people say to me, ‘I love to hear you read the Bible. You make the Bible come alive for me. Will you keep reading the bible, please? I love the sound of your voice,’” she revealed.

Cameron Bure confessed, “It feels so redemptive that, like, God’s using the very thing that glorifies him and the thing that’s brought me pain and then be rewarded for it. Not in a personal way rewarded. But people like the sound of my voice when I read the Bible. So I’m like, ‘This is amazing.’”

The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries star noted that the full-circle moment has been emotionally charged.

“I’m crying because I just got really self-conscious of my voice because that’s what you’re listening to. But I have a podcast and we’re sharing Jesus,” Cameron Bure concluded. “And that’s what my heart is. My heart is just to bring people one step closer to Jesus.”

“He got along effortlessly with the fam: my brothers, my sisters, my dad,” Teddi, 45, revealed on the Wednesday, August 12, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast. “My dad met him, but then didn’t say anything straight away. He just was like, ‘Hi, nice to meet you.’ But I just kept it moving because I was with so many people. And then yesterday, my dad comes over. He lights up a cig. ‘You gonna try not to tell me that was your guy that you introduced me to? You thought you were just gonna slip that in?’”

On Monday, August 10, Teddi and her boyfriend — known to listeners as Valley Guy — traveled to the Hollywood Bowl to see John, 74, perform.

Teddi’s closest family and friends — including Kyle Richards —  were able to experience the concert under the stars in Los Angeles.

When podcast cohost Dolores Catania asked what it was like for Edwin, 49, to meet Valley Guy at the concert, Teddi said the introduction went more than “fine.”

“I mean, Edwin definitely gave him one little zinger. Edwin was like, ‘Oh, maybe you got done with your finals in time,’” Teddi said while referencing her new man’s younger age. “And Valley guy was like, ‘It was a presentation.’”

In a surprise turn of events, Teddi went Instagram official with Valley Guy after the concert. And yes, she revealed his name for the first time.

With PJ Conley’s page private, Teddi joked that she will likely continue referring to her new man — who is a University of Southern California grad and financial analyst — as Valley Guy on the podcast.

After spotting Teddi’s Instagram on her feed, Dolores, 55, couldn’t help but express her excitement over her friend’s current chapter.

“Wait, was that him in the pictures on Instagram? Oh, he’s cute,” she said. “He’s got a nice face and he looks like he’s nice. I saw he looked happy.”

“When you’re in that kind of situation, like a conflict resolution, emotions are really high,” Trista, 53, said on the Wednesday, August 12, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Almost Famous” podcast. “I feel like just finding my words is a struggle these days, just with age, unfortunately.”

During a recent trip with iHeartRadio, Courtney, 43, and Trista reunited and proved their relationship is far from rosy. Both Bachelor Nation members expressed hurt for past comments made on and off social media.

At one point, Courtney accused Trista of treating her “like scum.”

As she began to cry, the OG Bachelorette continued, “I know I did, and I know how it feels to be hurt, and I feel like that’s part of why I went back to the beginning and why I brought up the other podcasts about her saying that I would go to the opening of an envelope and other things that were said, like, that I have an ego about me.”

Trista wished she remembered that Courtney was going through her own struggles, including a public divorce from her estranged husband, Humberto Preciado.

“I wanted my hurt to be heard, and I wish I would have just put that aside and started with love, especially with what she’s going through,” Trista explained. “My marriage is not perfect by any means. I know how hard it is to get through the difficult times in marriage, but it seems like there have been some pretty hard times.”

During the candid podcast episode, Bob, 55, asked his longtime friend and cohost if she could ever see a reconciliation with Courtney — especially with cameras and microphones far away.

It’s one of the lessons she’s taken away from the past week when reminding each and every listener that they can pick their chosen family.

“Everyone has different experiences, different senses of humor, different value systems, all of that. We are not all equal, but we all are human,” she said. “I don’t necessarily like certain things that she’s said about me, and I guarantee she doesn’t like things that I’ve said about her. So there’s that. But the hope is that we can move forward and if she’s listening — which she’s got a lot going on, I don’t expect her to be — but I do hope that she knows that I’m sorry.”

“I’ve met a lot of people from Bachelor Nation and when I came off my season and I went to that Bachelor Mansion event in Malibu — they were just about to announce Sean Lowe [as Bachelor] — so many people reached out to support me. You didn’t give me the f***ing time of day,” Courtney, 43, alleged to Trista, 53, during the Monday, August 10, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Almost Famous” podcast. “Chris Harrison was there, and you treated me like scum.”

Visibly shocked by her podcast  guest’s experience, Trista denied treating The Bachelor alum like “scum.”

While she acknowledged past social media posts and podcast appearances rubbed her the wrong way, Trista recalled an email she sent Courtney as she was preparing to release her 2014 book, Confessions of a Reality Show Villain.

Courtney seemingly pulled up past emails and read out her response to Trista that stated, “I don’t want you to ever feel like I was attacking you. … Your apology means a lot to me and is fully accepted.”

As for how any and all past drama is coming up now, Trista and Courtney found themselves on a weekend trip to Lake Tahoe with iHeartRadio earlier this month.

When the getaway first began, Trista claimed Courtney wanted “space” as she continues to navigate a public divorce with Humberto Preciado.

“This was not my idea, by the way, so don’t hold that against me,” Trista shared. “I just wanted you to have fun here. … I’m shaking inside. I’m about to have a panic attack.”

Courtney replied, “I just have a lot of s*** going on right now and this isn’t comfortable for me. I’ve been having panic attacks all day because of what I’m going through, personally. I probably should have skipped the trip. This feels a little greedy to try to get us to sit here and hash it out.”

An “Almost Famous” podcast producer named Heather, however, chimed in and said the goal of the taping “was resolution” and not conflict.

As the podcast came to a dramatic end, Trista offered empathy and sympathy to Courtney as she navigates a public divorce.

“I am very maternal towards anyone who has been on this show and is part of this Bachelor Nation family,” she said. “I can love everyone. We don’t have to like each other. You don’t have to like me.”

Courtney replied, “For whatever reason, you and I clash, and I think it’s because we’ve had two totally different experiences. I am that girl who is a fighter, and I don’t want to seem like I’m hostile. I’m over it. I just think we’re two very different personality types.”

“I just wish Jodie Foster well, you know. I don’t really see her movies, but I wish her well, and I know she’s doing quite well,” Hinckley, 71, shared in Entertainment Weekly’s sneak peek of the Wednesday, August 12, episode of the “Mark Joseph Show” podcast. “And that’s all I can say is just, I wish Jodie well, and I hope she has a good life.”

Reagan was hit by a bullet that bounced off his limousine and struck him under his arm. He was able to survive his injuries, later dying in 2004 at the age of 93.

Hinckley, who was 25 at the time of the shooting, said he carried out the assassination attempt to impress Foster after she grabbed his attention in Taxi Driver. 

He was found not guilty by reason of insanity in 1982 and spent more than 30 years in a psychiatric facility. He was released in 2022.

During his rare interview, Hinckley was asked by podcast host Mark Joseph what his favored outcome would have been more than four decades ago.

“I wanted to have a union with Jodie Foster and live the rest of my life with her and all these things that, of course, were delusional,” Hinckley responded. “But I was believing those things at the time, so the best outcome would have been a union with Jodie Foster.”

He continued, “I thought she would, you know, after things settled down, join me wherever I was. I wasn’t sure if I was gonna be in jail or the hospital or what after things settled down. I had this notion that she was gonna join me wherever I was.”

Foster has rarely commented on the incident. In a June 2024 conversation for Interview magazine, however, the Oscar winner said Hinckley’s actions may prevent her from doing live theater again.

“I’m finally able to admit that the one bit of theater I did when I was in college, there was so much trauma involved in it,” she said. “The play happened in two weekends, and I did the first weekend, and in between the first weekend and the second weekend, John Hinckley shot the president. … He shot him in order to impress me, and he had written letters to me, so it was a big moment in my life.”

Foster continued, “The world fell apart. There were Secret Service people everywhere. I had bodyguards, and I had to be taken to a safe house, and I was in the middle of these two weekends of this play.”

One memory that O’Donnell won’t forget was when she visited a beer garden and found herself sitting next to a couple and their 2-year-old baby.

O’Donnell — who is raising her 13-year-old adopted son Clay in Ireland — said there are some drawbacks to being away from the country she grew up in.

For starters, she isn’t close enough to her grown kids and longtime friends.

“My friends are really my family and community and it’s been very difficult,” she said. “It’s lonely sometimes, but I have met two really good friends whose little kids have autism and they’re the same age as Clay and we socialize together and that’s been really helpful.” (In September 2022, O’Donnell revealed Clay’s autism diagnosis for the first time.)

“It’s been very beautiful and very, very healing for me,” O’Donnell continued when describing her life in Ireland. “People say they notice a difference and I think I’m just calmer. I’m calmer being over there.”

The former cohost of The View still makes plenty of trips to the States. In June, she was able to attend the Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

She was also part of Rosie O’Donnell: Common Knowledge, a critically acclaimed one-woman show held in New York from July 22 to August 8.

“I’m not running for mayor yet. I never said never,” Umansky, 56, said on the Monday, August 10, episode of “Money Rehab” podcast. “Maybe one day. I’ve thought about it a lot, but not yet. I’m a registered independent, and I believe in the middle. I think we’ve lost the middle. I think it’s kind of gone, which is kind of sad.”

According to the Agency cofounder, everything is “so extremist right now,” and there needs to be a push for “finding balance and finding that middle again.”

Umansky argued that Los Angeles needs to bring businesses, employment and innovation back to one of the largest cities in the United States. He also feels there needs to be a push to prioritize Hollywood.

“We’ve lost so much of Hollywood. We need to give Hollywood incentives,” he argued. “What put Los Angeles on the map was television and movies. The reason we have people come from all over the world to visit L.A. is because of the movies. If we stop filming movies and television here, it’s not only about the employment that’s coming, it’s about the tourism.”

Umansky is also concerned with the city because he claims international buyers are “gone.”

“If we don’t start fixing that now,” the luxury real estate agent shared, “that’s going to affect us.”

Earlier this summer, The Hills alum Spencer Pratt made headlines when he ran for L.A. mayor. Although Umansky voted for the reality star, Pratt, 42, did not receive enough votes for the general election in November. (Voters will choose between incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and city council member Nithya Raman.)

When asked whether Pratt’s loss had an effect on his political ambitions, Umansky said he’s still thinking about the future.

“I haven’t decided whether I want to run or not. It’s a major commitment, and it’s also very difficult to run against the Democratic Party in Los Angeles, which is also kind of sad,” he claimed on Monday. “They’re making promises that are unsustainable in order to win votes and they’re not good for the city just to win votes.”

Umansky hopes that those in power can also fix the “bad PR” surrounding Los Angeles. If they do, he believes things could change for the better.

“If we can change the PR that’s out there, but actually change it [so] that we are safe here,” he explained. “We cannot have criminals get out of jail in three days. We just can’t do that because what happens is more crime happens. They’re not scared of being in jail. They’re not scared of being put away.”

“What I’m going through is with infidelity and different parenting styles, and I would say it’s early days,” Robertson, 43, claimed on the Saturday, August 8, episode of iHeartRadio’s “I Do, Part 2” podcast. “I’ve been thinking about this for a year, two years. I know it may have seemed sudden to some people.”

Robertson — who appeared on Ben Flajnik’s season of The Bachelor in 2012 — first announced her split from Preciado in July after six years of marriage. At the time, the reality star said she decided to end her marriage “after learning information that irreparably damaged the trust in our marriage.”

“When I did the Bachelor Mansion Takeover, I look at the video and, like, I had so much stress,” Robertson told podcast cohosts Bob Guiney and Deanna Pappas. “I’m 43 now. My face was puffy. The cortisol levels and that was stressful. I was brokenhearted.”

It was a money-making opportunity. It was a great experience for me. But you know, obviously, I touched on infidelity and I’ve talked about it pretty openly, but he’s on my cell phone plan and it was, like, four or five days into filming, and I shouldn’t have done it. I looked at my phone plan and one of the girls — because there’s many — was texting late once the kids went down, and it just shattered me.”

Us has reached out to Preciado for comment. He has yet to publicly comment on any cheating allegations.

For many years, Hilton found success as a celebrity blogger who would use basic Microsoft Paint software to scrawl controversial doodles, arrows and captions onto paparazzi photos.

Hannity, 64, called out Hilton’s past of “mocking celebrities’ bodies and appearances and speculating about their sexuality” before asking why he stopped creating that type of content online.

Hilton’s latest podcast appearance was filmed weeks before he alarmed his TikTok followers on Tuesday, August 4, when he went live on the platform and appeared to perform dangerous acts of self-harm.

A U.S. spokesperson for TikTok told Us that a “moderation error” caused the delay in taking down the livestream, which spanned for about 15 minutes. Several subsequent livestreams were taken down within 90 seconds and Hilton’s account has since been banned from the platform.

Miami-Dade police confirmed to Us that officers responded to calls “regarding an individual who was live-streaming acts of self-harm on social media” and were dispatched to Hilton’s home for what they suspected was a “possible suicide” attempt.

“Our family wants to once again thank everyone who has reached out with prayers, kind messages, and support for Perez. Your compassionate humanity during this profoundly heartbreaking time has meant more than words can express,” Hilton’s family said in a statement shared via his website on Wednesday, August 5. “This has been incredibly difficult and emotional for us, made even harder because very little information has been made available to our family. While we continue to wait for further updates, we remain hopeful.”

Kerr, 43, revealed on the Tuesday, August 4, episode of the “Let’s Be Honest” podcast that she and Bloom, 49, have been great coparents “from day one.”

The model confessed, “It’s obviously not easy when you’re separating and there’s always a level of hurt even if you both know it’s for the right reasons. So there’s always a level of hurt both ways I would say in any separation.”

However, she and Bloom chose to focus on their son, Flynn, now 15, and his needs following their divorce. (The pair were married three years from 2010 to 2013 before they parted ways.)

“The most important thing that I learnt is just to put the needs of the child first,” Kerr explained of their post-split dynamic.

She told host Kristin Cavallari that she always asked herself, “Is this in the best interest of Flynn?”

Kerr was adamant about getting her and Bloom’s “needs out of the way” and instead focused on the well-being of their son, adding, “And that was really our guidepost for any decision.”

The KORA Organics founder noted that her history with Bloom has helped improve their coparenting relationship.

“Through that, we’ve known each other for a long time, we’ve developed such a good friendship that he’s just part of the family,” Kerr said. “He’s like a brother, you know? So we have that.”

Tori Spelling has parted ways with her Beverly Hills, 90210 rewatch podcast.

“Tori has not participated on the podcast in recent weeks but Jennie [Garth] is passionately excited to continue to rewatch,” a source tells Us. “She plans to rewatch it to the end and include special guests and guests cohosts from the series.”

The insider adds that Spelling’s future will be addressed on the Friday, July 31, episode of the “9021OMG” podcast.

Jennie Garth Says '90210' Cast Is 'Super Close' at 'Different Times'

Spelling confirmed in an Instagram Live that she would not be part of the “9021OMG” podcast due to other projects, per Entertainment Weekly. In the clip, Spelling shared that fans should continue listening to Garth’s recaps on the beloved iHeartRadio show.

Spelling launched the rewatch podcast with Garth, her former 90210 costar-turned-cohost in 2020, sharing behind-the-scenes details and recaps of episodes from the beloved show.

“It’ll be fun to start from the very beginning, the pilot episode,” Garth told Us before the premiere episode dropped. “And you know, we’ve got like 10 years’ worth of episodes to work through, that’s gonna be a while.”

Garth went on to claim she remembers less than “90 percent” of the show, which ran for 10 seasons from 1990 to 2000. Spelling, for her part, told Us that she hopes to reconnect with her former cast members and guest stars on the podcast.

Beverly Hills, 90210 centered around the Walsh Family as they transitioned from life in the midwest to Beverly Hills. Throughout the series, parents Jim (James Eckhouse) and Cindy (Carol Potter) and their teenage twins Brandon (Jason Priestley) and Brenda (Shannen Doherty) experienced ups and downs while also interacting with Dylan McKay (Luke Perry), Kelly Taylor (Garth), Donna Martin (Spelling), David Silver (Brian Austin Green), Steve Sanders (Ian Ziering), and more.

The series was later rebooted in 2008 with an all-new cast. In 2019, several faces from the original cast reunited for BH90210. Fox, however, told Us in a statement at the time that the show would not be moving forward with a second season.

“I’m nervous to go there,” Salley, 31, shared on the Wednesday, July 29, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Sex Unlocked” podcast. “I told [Kyle Cooke], ‘I’m coming to the house — the Summer House house. I’m gonna be there, so I’m gonna go to the house for one of their parties. I’m gonna make a little cameo, I guess, but I am a little nervous.”

Salley — who seemingly has a connection with Kyle, 43 — isn’t anxious to see his estranged wife, Amanda Batula. After all, the Bravo star isn’t expected to be part of the new season.

“You’re going to see our relationship dynamic play out,” Austen teased. “We’re certainly talking about that a lot amongst one another, and Salley and I just have a lot of fun together.”

Rancic, 51, used the Wednesday, July 29, episode of her iHeartRadio “Bill and Giuliana” podcast to set the record straight after feeling as if O’Connell, 52, was “downplaying what [their] relationship was” when he appeared on “Let’s Talk Off Camera” earlier this month.

“For a year and a half — except for the one breakup — we were together 24/7 every day, every night,” Rancic claimed. “You could listen to his interview and think maybe this was an easy relationship, he was dating a bunch of girls, but no. It was a real relationship.”

Rancic recalled how the couple would say “I love you” to each other “all day long.” She claimed everything was “perfect” and “totally fine” between them before the actor went to film a movie overseas with Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell.

Photos subsequently surfaced of the costars holding hands. Rancic referred to that moment as the “most shocking” of her life, adding, “I walked into a voiceover booth and fell to the ground, crying hysterically. It was awful. So upsetting and so devastating.”

After Rancic called O’Connell, she remembered he said, “Yeah, sorry. I don’t know what to tell you. I screwed up.”

She continued: “I was left to pick up the pieces of what was literally a perfect relationship for a year.”

According to Rancic, O’Connell made attempts to win her back after his romance with Halliwell, 53, fizzled out. He allegedly begged Rancic to take him back while calling his infidelity “the biggest mistake” of his life.

The pair reconciled, but it didn’t last long. Rancic recalled not being able to get ahold of O’Connell when he was in Las Vegas and that led to her visiting his home, where he infamously ended their relationship while speaking to her from his second-floor balcony.

The journalist, who teased plans for a second part of her tell-all, noted that O’Connell had been invited to appear on the podcast. She clarified that her episode was “coming from a nice place, a place of love” and that she wanted to “unfuzz” her ex-boyfriend’s memory.

“Everything happens for a reason,” she concluded. “We are both happily married now, both have great families and we are both exactly where we’re meant to be.”

Earlier this month, Kelly Ripa read a passage from Rancic’s 2015 memoir, Going Off Script, in which she claimed O’Connell had told her through an intercom, “Nope, sorry, homegirl. Things change, but you take care, OK?”

O’Connell, for his part, couldn’t “deny that [he] said that” and admitted to being a “terrible boyfriend” to Rancic.

“[Another woman] was inside my condominium [when] Giuliana Rancic wanted entry into my condominium,” he told Ripa, 55. “Thank goodness, buzzer, gate, security. I paid a pretty hefty homeowners’ fee for these things. Cameras and everything.”

O’Connell went on to offer his side of the story.

“I said, ‘I did not know you were coming. You can’t come here unannounced,’” he continued. “Notice no one had a key, so the relationship was not like that. There was no warning, and I didn’t want someone coming in because I didn’t want any confrontation.”

While discussing his split from Rancic, O’Connell claimed their relationship “was [already] in trouble” by the time they parted ways. He also recalled public speculation that he was a “cheater.”

Miller, 34, began to ask if writers are “too politically correct” or “too insular into their own lives in Hollywood” when trying to create the next hit TV show.

The question got Grammer to think about what could be having an impact on the genre.

“The idea of being too politically correct is probably killing the process, I think. It’s not necessarily destroyed funny for everyone,” he said. “It’s just they’ve eliminated funny based upon human behavior. They’ve made it just too on point on people that don’t actually behave that way.”
