No sibling rivalry here! Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson’s daughter Georgia, 4, can’t get enough of her 7-week-old sister Gianna.
“Georgia is obsessed with her. She’s always calling her ‘my baby,” the comedian told Us Weekly at a pre-Emmy party in Los Angeles sponsored by Fiji Water. The 40-year-old, who shares his girls with model wife Christina Evangeline, added that he’s never heard Georgia refer to Gianna as her sister. “She’s like, ‘My baby. Good morning my little baby.’ She’s always wanting to hold her.”
Though Thompson is usually tight–lipped about his personal life, the proud dad couldn’t help but gush to Us about his “big happy family.” The Georgia native revealed it doesn’t matter what they are doing, as long as they are together.
“Georgia’s busy right now. She’s got school. So we miss her throughout he day, but when she gets home we go to dinner or something,” Thompson told Us. “That’s always nice.”
Thompson has come a long way. Back in 2014, the star was “terrified” about becoming a father. “I don’t know what to do with babies. Like, do you feed it and, like, put it away or something?” he quipped on Late Night With Seth Meyers. “I plan to be, like, at the casino or something when she’s giving birth. Just kind of like old-school it a little bit.”
The NBC star and Evangeline, 29, tied the knot in Atlanta on a Friday night in November 2011. Thompson made it back to New York City to appear on SNL the next day.
