Taylor Armstrong

Taylor Armstrong (born Shana Lynette Hughes) is a television personality best known for appearing on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of Orange County. Armstrong spent her childhood in Independence, Kansas. She later moved with her family to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Union High School in 1989.

Armstrong moved to Beverly Hills, California, where she worked in e-commerce before joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2010. She appeared as an original cast member for the show’s first three seasons. She has also made appearances in projects including The Hills, Couples Therapy and Entertainment Tonight. In 2023, she joined The Real Housewives of Orange County as a friend of the cast.

In 2012, she published the memoir Hiding From Reality: My Story of Love, Loss and Finding the Courage Within.

Taylor married businessman Russell Armstrong in 2005 and they share one daughter, Kennedy (born in 2006). The couple separated in 2011 and Russell died later that year. Armstrong married attorney John Bluher in April 2014. Bluher later adopted Kennedy.
