Matthew Broderick
Manhattan-raised Matthew Broderick, born in 1962, is best known for his charming portrayal of Ferris in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
Although often seen on the big screen, the actor has made his mark on Broadway musicals, especially with his award-winning performance for “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” and “The Producers.”
On the set of Ferris, Broderick met actress Jennifer Grey, and they were temporarily engaged.
He also dated Helen Hunt, until he met Sarah Jessica Parker, whom he married in May 1997. The couple has a son, James.
In June 2009, Parker and Broderick welcomed twin girls, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, via a surrogate.
