Reality TV fans met Jenn Tran, a physician assistant student from New Jersey, on Joey Graziadei’s season 28 of The Bachelor. Despite receiving one of the first one-on-one dates of the season and forming a strong connection with Graziadei, she did not make it to the final four contestants and was eliminated before the hometown dates.

However, she was granted a second chance at finding love by being cast as the season 21 lead of The Bachelorette in March 2024. She made Bachelor Nation history in more ways than one, becoming the show’s first Asian American lead and the first Bachelorette to propose to their final contestant.

Tran proposed to Devin Strader during the show’s September 2024 after sending home her runner-up, Marcus Shoberg. The proposal was aired on the show’s After the Final Rose special, but not before Tran revealed that Strader had called off their engagement over the phone not long after filming wrapped.

One day after her Bachelorette finale, Tran was announced to be competing on season 33 of Dancing With the Stars with pro dancer Sasha Farber.
