Glen Powell

Glen Powell (born Glen Thomas Powell Jr.) is an actor known for his roles in films including Top Gun: Maverick, Hit Man and Twisters. Powell spent his childhood in Austin, Texas, where he was raised alongside his two sisters. He attended the University of Texas at Austin before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time.

Powell landed his first big Hollywood role in 2016’s Everybody Wants Some!!, where he played a small part but received praise for his comedic performance. That same year he portrayed astronaut John Glenn in Hidden Figures (2016). He later expanded his portfolio with roles in films like The Expendables 3 (2014), The Bad Guys (2018) and Set It Up (2018). In 2022, he landed his mainstream breakout in Top Gun: Maverick, sharing the screen with Tom Cruise and Miles Teller. The following year, he starred in the rom-com Anyone But You (2023) alongside Sydney Sweeney. On television, he starred in the horror comedy series Scream Queens from 2015 to 2016 and later joined the cast of shows including Chad Powers.

Powell briefly dated actress Nina Dobrev in 2017 and TV host Renee Bargh from 2018 to 2019. He began a long-term relationship with model Gigi Paris in 2020, sharing posts and attending events together. They broke up in April 2023 amid rumors that he was dating Sweeney, which both Powell and Sweeney denied. In 2025, he sparked dating rumors with actress Michelle Randolph, and the pair went Instagram official the following year.
