Emma Corrin was born in December 1995 in England. She is the oldest of three kids and the only girl in her family. She attended a boarding school as a young girl before studying at St John’s College in Cambridge.

The British actress’ first film role was playing Mica in Cesare in 2017. She then appeared in the short film Alex’s Dream before portraying Esme Winikus on Pennyworth. Corrin rose to fame after landing the role of Princess Diana/Lady Diana Spencer on season 4 of Netflix’s The Crown in 2020.

Corrin earned a Screen Actors Guild nomination in 2021 for her performance and took home the trophy for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series that same year alongside her Crown costars. She also won the 2021 Golden Globes award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama.
