Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen is an American model and television personality. She was born in Delta, Utah, and spent her childhood in Snohomish, Washington. After moving to Huntington Beach, California, at age 15, Teigen was discovered by a photographer and began her modeling career.

Teigen served as a briefcase model on Deal or No Deal from 2007 to 2008 and appeared in the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue as Rookie of the Year. Four years later, she covered the iconic issue with Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge in honor of the magazine’s 50th anniversary.

Teigen has hosted a number of TV shows throughout her career, including Model Employee, FABLife, Lip Sync Battle and Chrissy’s Court, the latter of which she also produced.

Teigen published her first cookbook, Cravings, in 2016. She published a second cookbook, Cravings: Hungry for More (2018), alongside her Cravings cookware line two years later.

Teigen met John Legend in 2007 while starring in his “Stereo” music video. The pair got engaged in 2011 and tied the knot in 2013. They welcomed daughter Luna in 2016 and son Miles in 2018. Teigen announced in August 2020 that she was pregnant with baby No. 3, but she suffered a partial placenta abruption one month later, causing the loss of their son at 20 weeks. She and Legend planned to name their baby Jack. In 2023, Teigen revealed that the “medical intervention” she required while pregnant with Jack was a life-saving abortion.

The pair welcomed daughter Esti Maxine in January 2023. Just six months later, the couple welcomed son Wren via surrogate, confirming the news via Instagram in June 2023.
