Chrissy Metz starred on NBC’s This Is Us for six seasons from 2016 to 2022, earning two Screen Actors Guild Awards and an Emmy nod for her portrayal of Kate Pearson. Metz also starred on American Horror Story: Freak Show and Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny.
Metz is also a musician. She performed the Oscar-nominated song “I’m Standing With You” on the soundtrack of her 2019 movie, Breakthrough.
Metz was married to journalist Martyn Eaden from 2008 to 2015. She briefly dated composer Hal Rosenfeld before moving on with Bradley Collins in May 2020. Metz and Collins announced their split in October 2023, less than a year after the release of their children’s book, When I Talk to God, I Talk About You.
