Taylor Lane

Taylor Lane is a Baltimore native who enjoyed creating homemade magazines from an early age. Taylor decided to take her love of publishing into a career and moved to New York City to attend LIM College. While there, Taylor held multiple internships at fashion magazines, like Elle and Vogue, which eventually led to a career as a style and beauty commerce writer. When she’s not writing about the best fashion and beauty products, Taylor enjoys exploring her new city, Charleston, South Carolina, with an iced coffee in hand and a good Spotify playlist.

Work or writing background leading to expertise

Taylor began her career as a fashion assistant at Glamour Magazine in 2017. From there, she transitioned into freelance writing and, shortly after, joined the Dotdash Meredith team as a commerce writer in 2019. During her time there, she created stories across InStyle, Shape, Health, Southern Living and PEOPLE, and contributed to the fashion and beauty verticals. From there, Taylor spent nearly two years at SheKnows as a commerce writer. You can also find Taylor’s work on WWD, Women’s Health, and more.
