Britney Spears seems to have moved on from her paparazzo beau Adnan Ghalib.
When asked by a photographer on Sunday if she has a message for Ghalib, the singer responded in a British accent, "I don't know who that is... I have never met him before."
The remark, taped outside of the Millennium Dance Studios in Burbank, has fueled rumors the couple have split.
Spears also commented, "You are better off being homeless than being me, sir."
Ghalib, 35 and married, has been with Spears, 26, since December. The day after she left Cedars-Sinai January 5, she ran away with him to Palm Desert.
Last Sunday, Spears adviser Sam Lutfi told X17 that "he is worried about Adnan's influence over Britney."
Spears' best friend Alli Sims says in the latest issue of Us Weekly: "I do not think Adnan is a good person. I think he only has bad intentions. He has given me a weird feeling and creeped me out. I wish he would just go away."

You can't just have someone committed. You have to prove they are a threat and get police involved like before, or that the person is so far gone that they are not rational and go through the courts. In the case of being a threat, they have to remain so for the hospital to hold them. In the case of going through the court system, it is very hard to prove that they are not rational. It's also unlikely. She is likely rational according to legal standards. She is just refusing treatment for whatever. She is allowed to do that.
Intervention does not always work. She has already had at least one, when she went to rehab. There is literally only so much the family can do, and when they have exercised all of their options for helping her, sometimes for their sake it is best to take a step back. Often the people trying to get the ill person help become the enemy. Often it is hurting them and they have their own components of the illness, enabling, codependence, going on and they need to remove themselves in order to stay healthy.
In the case of Britney, it's going to be harder for her to see how far she's fallen. She won't be faced with the reality a lot of ill people have, homelessness, hunger, etc. She's going to have her roof over her head, her shopping sprees in sometimes this will work itself out as proof of their ability to function.

We dont need to film it along the way this girl is already scared as it is. I'm not saying im on her side im just saying that she knows the concequinces, sometimes not always good, of what she does and she can fix them herself we dont need to be messing with it...Because it would be unfortunate to see her problems affect her too much. She was way more polite than any of us would be with people climbing on our cars constantly. I couldn't believe how calm she was. I seriously doubt any of the losers typing bad stuff about Britney are perfect. I would love to see any of you let the paparazzi (and world for that matter) follow your every individual move for a few years. That might change how you view this entire situation.
