For Meredith She needs to actually let McDreamy in. I think she keeps guarded. I do think that Lexie is somehow gonna get in their mix. Haven't quite figured it out yet. I agree we need Burke back! I think then that Christina would be "normal". She had someone hurt her ego.

The show and it's characters ARE NOT real, but the writers are effectively dramatizing the effects of abandonment on children and the relationship problems they have when they grow into adults. The Meredith character clearly described how feeling abandoned as a child [by a father who was too intimidated by her mother to try to have a relationship with Meredith] prevents her from being able to 'accept love from the best guy in the world'. Meredith's actions towards her half-sister are not calculated agression [as the bloggers on this site seem to believe] they are survival techniques that adult children use to keep from being hurt again.

I think Lexie will get revenge by tearing McDreamy up for what Meredith is doing. Meredith is taking her relationship down the wrong path. All McDreamy needs is some loving. They also need to bring Burke back.

Meredith has no reason to want to know Lexie. She has enough problems without this person from her fake familiy. Lexie is the one with the good life. She should just back off now. I wouldn't want to know Lexie either. She's so weird and akward.

I think the past is the past. her dad was the jerk who left her not her sister. The girl is trying. She had no idea who she was before this whole thing exploded. Her life changed just as much as Meredith's did. Her mom just died. Meredith is a grown woman and should grow up. Not only with this relationship with her sister but with Derek. She is being a immature 20 yearold right now. Life isnt always going to wonderful. These bad times are what makes us who we are.
