Emmy nominated Grey's Anatomy star T.R. Knight stops by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Sept. 27 to discuss his furry birthday present from friend Katherine Heigl, what his life has been like since coming out, tonight's premiere of Grey's and that mystery date you read about. Read on for excerpts:
On Supporting His Best Friend Katherine Heigl at the Emmys:
"It was fun. It was such a surprise to be included on that list [myself]. Heigl winning, that was pretty incredible when they called her name."
On Heigl's Gift to Him on His March 26 Birthday:
"She showed up with at my house...with a dog. I had been talking about it for a while. I guess there’s a point, too much talk and not enough action.
So she made the decision. [I named him] Arrow."
On Dating and Life Since Coming Out:
"I feel I’ve learned so much this past year, so yeah that changes you. But as far as the dating, recently Katie and her fiance Josh Kelley and me and her mom went out to dinner and it was reported that it was with me and my new boyfriend. That was really her mom."
On Closeted Hollywood Pressures to Come Out
"Everyone has their own path. You just have to respect that. I don’t know what it's like to be in their shoes. I know a lot of people who make statements but you have to do it when it’s right for you. I don’t think it's right to force that. It’s impossible to know. There’s a lot of soul searching you have to do."

I think the bottom line for me is, T.R. Knight seems to be a kind, good-natured guy who tries hard to live his life and not hurt anyone else. He does a lot of good things in the community in Minneapolis, where he's from. Isaiah Washington, on the other hand, has a history of assault (physical AND verbal) and is generally considered by other actors to be an a$$ to work with. So who is living the more Christ-like life?

I guess it all depends on which version of the Bible you read. I find it funny that there are different translations out there.
While there is a trend of bicuriousity out there- mostly among young women and teen girls- there are scientific reasons for homosexuality. It's not about choice.

3:41 Anon-read the Bible. "Judge not, lest ye be judged." Jesus condemned a lot of bad behaviors in the New Testament and never said a word about or against homosexuality. I think Jesus would have been very accepting and welcoming of EVERYONE. Besides, Leviticus, where homosexuality is included, along with eating pork or shellfish or having mildew in your house, as being sinful, is considered apocryphal by most Biblical scholars, of which I am one.
