I kept thinking of why Britney shaved her head, and the conclusion that I came up with was. When you have changes in your life, and you feel like you are going out of control you want to hide you don't want to be you anymore. I think Britney didn't want to be Britney anymore. This blond sex symbol that she was prior to her pregnancy's put alot of pressure on her. Lets face it her looks really helped her career. Now the shaving of the hair thing was a drastic way to go , but maybe she didn't care at the time. What I can't figure out is why when she realized what she did why didn't she buy a wig that was not so cheap looking.She doesn't act like she is trying to cover it up very well. The girl really needs help. She has got to change her life or she will lose more then her career, she will lose her kids. Because she is already lost the respect of alot of her fan's. The thought occurred to me too, Sara. The "I don't want anyone touching me" and the shaving of the hair both made me wonder. I do think her main problem is drugs, but it's not uncommon for people to alter their appearance after a traumatic event.

Hasn't anyone considered the possiblity that Britney Spears was Raped??? This is the first thing that came to my mind. If you know anything about rape victims, the first things they'll do is say things like "I don't want anyone touching me. I'm tired of everybody touching me."
The victims usually blame themselves for the attack and may act out in self mutilating ways such as starving themselves or over eating, shaving their hair ect...
It's extremely possible that the rape could have happened during the time of her partying days with Paris. Maybe she was experimenting with too many drugs and drinking too heavily and got shacked up in a room with some guy who eventually raped her. Just think, she could have passed out and have been raped by several men at one time. I'm sure her body guards are not in the room during her make-out/sex hours. It would explain the additional down ward spiral since she stopped hanging out with Paris and maybe why she decided to stop hanging out with Paris.

Britney is clearly in the middle of a nervous break down, and the world gets to witness her when she is in her most vulnerable state. When someone is mentally unstable is not something we should take lightly. Odd behaviors due to mental instability are not funny nor it's something a person can avoid without professional intervention. I think the public and the media tend to not be sympathetic to people with mental health issues, either because of lack of sensitivity or just plain ignorance on the subject. I've never liked Britney but now I feel sorry for her and I hope she has a strong support system that'll get her the help she desperately needs.

Karhappy I doubt Britney's actions have anything to do with Paris. I don't care for Paris at all but Britney isn't even hanging out with Paris and she continues to act like a self-centered, irresponsible, unstable human being. Paris doesn't have two children at home that need their mother more than ever. It is about time this girl gets help. She is running around town without panties and then shaves her head. I can't believe it has taken her so long to realize she needs help. I give her credit for addressing the situation. I hope that she comes out with a different attitude. It is hard raising two young children on your own. She needs to get help so she can be a better mom for those boys.

Of course Britney is out on a Sunday night clubbing. Where else would a mother of a toddler and a newborn baby be. I just can't believe social services hasn't stepped in yet.
