In the midst of allegations that the show is scripted, The Hills's unreality just became even more of a reality.
E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos is reporting that MTV is currently casting "key roles" in power duo Spencer and Heidi’s upcoming wedding. According to the latest buzz, Roxy Olin, daughter of Brothers & Sisters bigwig Ken Olin and series star Patricia Wettig, is a strong contender for the role of Heidi’s Maid of Honor.
However, as the Hills diehards are well aware, Miss Montag told on-again, off-again frienemy Jen Bunney she had the gig. Say what?!

I just want to say that i've watched Lauren from the first season of Laguna Beach. I like her she seems like a really nice girl; but no one knows her besides the people that actually hang out with her and are truly her friends so no one has a right to judge anyone off of a tv show!!!!! I actually feel bad for Heidi and Spencer; all they want to do is be together, granted they keep making mistakes like spreading rumors about others (not just Lauren) and going on interviews and talking crap on people in such childish manners. But I dont think Heidi and Lauren should be friends again just because there isn't a friendship there anymore! So they should continue what they're doing which is live there lives to the fullest. they're young and have nothing to lose.
I can't stand Lauren. She needs to grow up and quit acting like she's still in high school. It seems like she gets upset when her friends don't follow her around and do what she wants them to do. Lauren needs to get a life and she needs to not be so jealous of all her friends. She should consider herself lucky for not getting involved with a guy like Spencer because he's an idiot. Heidi and Spencer were made for each other. Their both morons. The only decent girl on that show is Whitney. In the end, they are all there for the fame and whoever thinks this show isn't scripted is a fool.
since when was it appropriate to make a best friend choose between you or the person that they loved. hello??? does anyone else think that was asinine of lauren to do? she meddled too much into heidi's affairs. she should have just found new friends to hang out with while heidi was blowing her off, and i'm sure heidi would have realized and fixed her mistake eventually.
i had a friend in college who did that to me. i opened up to her and told her how much it upset me that she neglected me since she started dating this new guy, but once i told her, it was over and i didn't bring it up again or ask her to leave her guy. i just diversified my friendbase and went on with life. my friend realized and felt bad. we bacame close again and everything was cool until this year (a few years later) when she did it again with another guy. but this time, she doesn't get forgiven and i hold her at arm's lengh from now on. but at least i gave her a second chance. LC should be mature enough to do the same thing to heidi (who has reached out and apologized) and stop being a whiney baby!

Its not only what Heidi did at work, remember Jenn Bunney's B-day when Spencer was trying to hook up Jenn & Brody and Jenn told Heidi I don't want to upset LC and Heidi said its your birthday and encouraged Jenn to hook up w/ Brody. A true friend is always your friend and would have NEVER encouraged that. Heidi has screwed herself in many ways.

Why in the world would you hold a casting call for your wedding? Get effing real Spencer and Heidi. After the big fit Heidi threw about the wedding and her family and friends being there, she decides to hold a casting call for the people to be in her wedding. Not cool. If her friends and family mean that much to her (as she let on all through season 3) they'd be the ones in the wedding. She needs a huge reality check.
Enough about Heidi & Spencer, they are both 2 sad, pathetic people. Especially to have to go as far as having a casting call for their wedding! Let's get serious. They've ruined their reputations because they truly are SUCKY people!!!

Spencer is such a loser and he is bringing Heidi down with him! I think she knows deep down that it;s not right but they both love the attention they get from all the drama. I'm finally glad to see there are some people out here that agree with me. Lauren was never really a true friend of Hiedis' if she can just easily dismiss their freindship because of Spencer. Granted the rumors that Spencer told were very disturbing but that doesn't put Hiedi at fault. And why should Hiedi say anything to Spencer about it (defiend L.C) she tried getting to the bottom of the issue between their friendship and L.C. couldn't have cared less. I think if anything L.C. didn't want to reconcile with Hiedi because of how she would look in the public's eye. As far as Spencer. I think he loves Hiedi. He lost his freinds too. But because this is so called reality tv and everyone has had an opinion and all of their dirty laundry was aired

If I were LC I would not forgive heidi. rumors are one thing but Sex Tape rumors are totally different because even if they arn't true they stick around forever and to have your mom find out, thats low on heidi's part. So I don't feel bad at all that she has to have a casting-call just to find someone to be in her wedding. Truth be told I wouldn't even try out for the part.
I wish that Lauren would be a true friend and try to work things out with Heidi. It's not Heidi's fault that she's in love and blinded by that love so much that she can't see what's right in front of her. I mean Lauren should know that people make bad decisions for love - she did choose Jason over Paris (or was it NY, whatever).

I understand that LC was really hurt by the whole thing, but if it wasn't true she should really get over it. I mean, she's in hollywood and living the life. She needs to develop a thicker skin. Being a true friend is really hard. Why was it so easy for her to forgive Jason but not Heidi. I think it's cuz we are often most disappointed by those we REALLY love.
I beileve that LC is a wonderful role model for our young girls today. Everywhere you turn there are celebrities teaching young ladies that it's okay to conform to society and that you do whatever it takes to get somewhere, no matter what the cost. LC is a bright young lady with a lot of potential and does things the right way. I absolutely admire that she has morals and ethics of which she bases how she lives her life.
I am 23 years old and was a D-1 college athlete and I understand the importance of being a strong role model for todays youth. I feel horribly for her and what she has gone through in past friendships and relationships, but unfortunately, these hardships are a part of life and she is giong to be a stronger person in the end because of them.
As for Heidi and Spencer, people of their status come a dime a dozen. They most certainly deserve each other. LC handled that situation in a very mature and responsible manner and I am proud of her for standing strong.
I want Heidi and Lauren to make up and Lauren to be the maid of honor and then Lo and Jen and Audrina and Kimberly can be the other bridesmaids
Brody should be his best man and Franki should be a groomsmen.
If this was a scripted show that is how it would end....a happy ending!! Well, we can only hope!

The show is so much more edited than anyone can ever imagine..It's so funny when they use the voice-overs that were done afterward (& we're not supposed to notice that the voice is differently pitched??) And they specifically don't show anyone's face at that moment, they flash to the table, or someone's hands or something random.!
Also-when Lauren went on her date w/the guy from the Teen Vogue shoot a few episodes back, if you notice - She is wearing red nailpolish during the whole date, but when she comes home right after that same date & walks in the door and calls Brody, her nails have no color on them & her hair is in a different style..
I think that Heidi and Spencer need to get aa life. Did you notice how during the whole "confrontation" between Heidi and Lauren, Heidi never really DENIED the fact that Spencer spread the rumors?? You know she knows, she just doesn't want to admit it. I think that Heidi knows she made a mistake by choosing Spencer but she can't go back on it now. But, on the other hand, Lauren is being kind of stubborn, Heidi is trying to be the bigger person and Lauren won't give in, but even if she did it would never work because of Spencer. Bla Bla Bla.
A lot of people say that the producers are trying to make Heidi look bad but I don't think so. Yeah it's true, there's a lot of editting but they do use the words that come out of Heidi's mouth. I personally think Heidi just used Lauren in the beginning to get on the show and after she easily ditched her for her boyfriend because she didn't need Lauren anymore. And being with Spencer, gives her more attention.
