Enough about Bristol Palin, says Lindsay Lohan.

“I think the real problem comes from the fact that we are taking the focus off of getting to know Sarah Palin and her political views, and what she can do to make our country a less destructive place," Lohan blogs on her MySpace page. "It's distracting from the real issues, the real everyday problems that this country experiences.”

Lohan continues, “I get Sarah Palin's views against abortion, but I would much prefer to hear more about what she can do for our country, rather than how her daughter is going to have a child no matter what. Maybe focus on delivering some words and policy with stronger impact like [Barack Obama's vice presidential pick] Joe Biden."

Lohan goes on to stress the importance of sex education.

"I think that parents need to recognize how important it is to talk to their children about the things that can result from being sexually active if they aren't protecting themselves," she writes.

The actress had other than besides politics on her mind: She asked fans to help her find Dixie cups of ice cream for her girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

Lindsay Lohan is livid that her father, Michael, publicly called her gal pal Samantha Ronson "a drug," and claimed she planned to sell Lindsay out in a tell-all book.

The 22-year-old actress - and Ronson, 31 - both took to their MySpace Celebrity blogs (below) to sound off.

If you have something to say to me, say it to my face- that's what i have believed my whole life- don't be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world- i think we know where the rest of this blog is going...

If you guessed it had to do with my father- then you guessed right! It really hurts, because i have tried- after all that my mother and siblings have gone through, i really tried to make things work- For the hope of having a father again-wanting things to change- even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same.

Having said that- the people were right, and he is yet to change- but this time, without his daughter by his side- He has become a public embaressment [sic] and a bully- To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (its obvious who that is).

He has no idea what is going on in my life because i have chosen not to involve him in it- His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS- FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension- If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.

Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.

This further proves that any information that my father has about me or the people in my life is internet based- and about as accurate as a page six item.

I'm not going to engage any further, though i probably could go on...

I have said enough, i have a therapist, and it is not the the camera man at x17.

i really don't want to say anything because i feel like he wins- he, being the man who is so desperate for attention that he goes to the media whenever possible- i know i am being used, i am just a pawn- easy to sacrifice in order to feed his addiction. I was angry when i first read his attack on me, but- for me- i believe that actions speak louder than words... so now i just pity him- i am not standing in his way- i am not the reason that he has no contact with his daughter- he is- his need to throw a tantrum for the whole world to hear is- i am not going to go into a play by play defense- i feel no need to publicly defend my role in lindsay's life- i'm just sorry that she likes me more than him.

p.s. i'm not the one that is so lost that i need to use my relationship with lindsay to earn a living.... i am, always will and always have been here for her for her- not for anything else....so I think it's safe to say that there is not now and never will be a tell all..... written by me..... when does your book come out mr. lohan?

Lindsay Lohan caused quite a stir on the set ABC's Ugly Betty: She got into the food fight!

Relax, it was for her role.

"It broke the ice really well!" Ana Ortiz told Usmagazine.com at the Hot in Hollywood party Saturday. "She throws a bagel well!"

Ortiz told Us she was "surprised to learn that [Lohan] is really funny.

"We did some improv stuff, and she just fell right into it," Ortiz said. "She threw in some off-the-cuff lines – I was really impressed!"

Lohan, who will appear on a few episodes of the show this season, plays Kimberly, "an old high school mate of Betty's who tortured her," Ortiz said.

Years later, the tables have turned: Kimberly is down on her luck, while Betty [America Ferrera] works at a glam fashion magazine.

The third season of Ugly Betty premieres September 25.

Lindsay Lohan says she felt compelled to blog on her MySpace Celebrity page after two photographers asked her if her 14-year-old sister Ali had implants.

"It made me feel a bit sick to my stomach," she writes. "My response simply was, 'Did you really just ask me that? She is a 14-year-old girl, and you are a pedophile!'"

Lindsay continues, "All I am trying to say is that I was raised with a wonderful family surrounding me. Of course, we have our ups and downs, but all in all, my mother taught us to appreciate what we have been given. Nor would she ever encourage, or allow a 14-year-old child to alter her body."

Lindsay goes on to say that she doesn't judge people who do have plastic surgery.

"I am just saying that it's not something that my family finds necessary to do, especially when you're not even fully developed yet!" she writes.

Samantha Ronson is amazed at the public interest in her relationship with Lindsay Lohan.

Ever since the two (who just returned from Miami Beach) began dating earlier this year, she says she's been getting flooded with questions.

"Even the airport security guy in Canada asked me, 'So is it true?'" Ronson, 31, says in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar. "It's like, 'Oh, yeah, I'm telling you.'"

Of Lohan, Ronson said, "She's great. She's also 22 years old. I think people forget that.

"With the Internet the way it is, one second we're enemies, one second we're best friends, one second we're lovers, and then we're broken up," she added.

In an e-mail to Bazaar, Lohan wrote, "I love the Ronsons. They're close to my [heart] and I respect all the work they do."

As for her romance with Ronson, she wrote: "Samantha and my relationship is a private matter."

The lovey-dovey twosome wore similar hats at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday.

The celeb DJ denies a report that she refused to play the teen's song at a recent event

Lindsay Lohan's DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson has shot down a report that she refuses to play Ali Lohan's new single, "All the Way Around."

"I really like the song – as soon as her MySpace page goes up, it will be a song of the day," Ronson, 30, posted on her MySpace blog Sunday.

"Where do they come up with this sh*t?" Ronson added, referring to the report in the New York Post.

"I'm afraid that people might actually believe that [this is true] and that's not fair to Ali," she continued. "High school is bad enough – Do tabloids really need to torture teenagers as well?"

Ronson went on to plug the song: "It's a great f***ing pop song!"

Meanwhile, Ali – who stars in the E! reality show Living Lohan with mom Dina – says a duet with Lindsay isn't out of the question.

"We've been thinking about that," she told MySpace in an interview. "That would be awesome. We've been talking about it a lot. Definitely down the road."

Ali also revealed her role models are her sister and her mom.

"My mom is such a strong woman," she said. "It's also cool to have her as my manager because I can trust her. And Lindsay just because I've been with her on movie sets and everything and I've seen her grow. She's such a big inspiration to me, I love her."
