Salma Hayek is saying "I Do!" — to a new reality show.

Hayek, 41, and her producing partner, Jose Tamez, are developing an hour-long reality series about weddings, Variety reports.

They have met with several networks about their show, which offers “a unique take” on nuptials, according to the trade.

Hayek — an executive producer of ABC's Ugly Betty — called off her engagement to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault in July.

She has said she doesn't feel "the need" to get married.

"Do I think we are going to get married? Probably. Will it make a difference? I hope not," she told Glamour in April.

"You want to grow old with someone, you want to have a partner and to have children — we have all those things," Hayek added. "Some people need the commitment. Maybe we'll just make the party!"

Salma Hayek and French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault — the father of her daughter Valentina — have called off their engagement.

"We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled," Hayek's rep said in a statement to USA Today. "There will be no further comment."

Hayek, 41, told the April issue of Glamour that she didn't feel the "need" to get married.

"Do I think we are going to get married? Probably. Will it make a difference? I hope not," she said.

"You want to grow old with someone, you want to have a partner and to have children — we have all those things," Hayek added. "Some people need the commitment. Maybe we'll just make the party!"

Do these stars look better after breakup?

The two kept their relationship low-key since meeting in Venice in May 2006.

They revealed they were expecting around the same time they announced their engagement last March.

Valentina was born last September.

Initially, Hayek said she "wanted a boy."

"Probably because I was afraid," she told Glamour. "I think women suffer a bit more than boys, and there is always conflict between mothers and daughters."

"Now that she's here, I'm so happy she's a girl," Hayek said. "And I can't imagine there ever being conflict between us, because I'm in a state of innocence where I love everything she does."

Valentina is the first child for Hayek; Pinault, 45, has two children from a previous marriage.

Sure, Salma Hayek is thrilled with her 6-month-old daughter, Valentina.

But the new mom, 41, says in the new issue of Glamour, "I have something to confess, I wanted a boy."

Why?

"Probably because I was afraid," she says. "I think women suffer more a bit more than boys, and there is always conflict between mother and daughters.

"But now that she's here, I'm so happy she's a girl," Hayek goes on to say. "And I can't imagine there ever being conflict between us, because I'm in a
state of innocence where I love everything she does."

Even though she is engaged to French businessman François Henri Pinault — the father of her child — the actress says she doesn't feel any rush to make it down the aisle.

Salma Hayek sends her regards to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, the proud new parents of twins.

"I wish them the best," Hayek told Usmagazine.com last night at de Grisogono's Hollywood Domino event at the Beverly Hills Hotel. "They will do great."

Lopez, 38, welcomed her first children – boy and a girl – early Friday in Long Island, New York. "Marc and Jennifer are ecstatic" her rep tells Us. "Everyone is healthy and happy."

Hayek, 41, gave birth to her first child, Valentina Paloma Pinault, in September.

There's no bad blood between Josh Lucas and Salma Hayek. In fact, the actor, 36, told Usmagazine.com that he even recently had a playdate with her two-month-old daughter, Valentina.

“She’s beautiful!" Lucas gushed to Us at a Johnnie Walker Blue Label bash at NYC's Time Warner Center November 15.

But with Valentina being just two months, what possibly did the two do?

“I threw Legos at her," he joked. "[I was like], 'Construct, right now!'"

Hayek — who split with Lucas in 2004 after a year — welcomed her newborn with her businessman fiancé François-Henri Pinault, 45.

The actress an Ugly Betty producer has one more thing to celebrate following her show's three Emmy wins last Sunday.

Actress Salma Hayek, 41, has given birth to her first child, a little girl named Valentina Paloma Pinault, a rep for the actress has confirmed.

“Mother and child are doing well,” publicist Cari Ross told the Associated Press.

According to an Us source, the actress' mother Diana Jimenez Hayek, brother Sami Hayek and fiance Francois-Henri Pinault were all there for the delivery.

The source tells Us that Hayek has had the baby's name picked out since she was six months pregnant. "She told everyone she loved Valentina because it strong and romantic," says the source.

Hayek's mother will be staying with her for the next month to take care of the baby at her Bel Air home.

The Ugly Betty producer announced her pregnancy, along with her engagement to the father of her daughter, Francois-Henri Pinault, in March. Businessman Pinault is the CEO of PPR, which owns Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, the French department store Printemps, catalog giant La Redoute and the music-bookstore chain FNAC.

Hayek hosted her own baby shower at the end of August at her home in the Hollywood Hills. Guest Pia Lindstrom told Us at the time, “She was full of pregnancy glow and looked so happy.”

New mother Hayek has said, “Motherhood is not for everyone. It is for me.”

The nine-months-pregnant Hayek (dad is her fiancé, Francois-Henri Pinault, 45, CEO of luxury goods company PPR) even received doubles of several gifts off her registry at L.A.’s NoMi Boutique. She got Petunia Pickle Bottom Cake bags in both black ($325) and pink ($425), as well as two Bloom high chairs ($400 each) and Graco Snug Ride car seats ($130 each). “She was very excited about everything,” said Pia Lindstrom, who attended the party, where guests – including Hayek’s mother – enjoyed homemade Mexican food.

“She was full of pregnancy glow and looked so happy.”

For Hayek, the baby can’t come fast enough. “Motherhood is not for everyone,” she has said. “It is for me.”

And though Hayek has not yet announced whether she’s expecting a boy or a girl, think pink: A source says gift cards were made out to “Valentina.”
