They’re offering her a lot of plum assignments.”</p> <p>Storm, 45, who has covered everything form the war in Iraq to the Olympics, has “wanted to do longer form reporting for awhile,” the source says. “Her future at CBS is pretty good.”</p> <p>But the anchor’s departure from the show is not without controversy.</p> <p>Shelley Ross, who took over as executive producer of <i>The Early Show</i> in September, “loved Hannah and fought tooth and nail to get her to stay,” the source says.
