Alan Panettiere allegedly hit wife Lesley in the cheek, leaving a mark

Hayden Panettiere's father was arrested Monday morning on allegations of spousal abuse.

Alan Panettiere will face a felony count of domestic violence for allegedly hitting wife Lesley in the cheek, leaving a visible mark.

Police were summoned to their West Hollywood home at 3:15 a.m. after the incident, which occurred after the Heroes star, 18, and her parents went to Eva Longoria's restaurant, Beso, for a party.

Lesley reportedly refused to go to the hospital, against advice of paramedics, but cops took pictures of the bruise, TMZ.com reports.

Alan was booked at 4:00 a.m. at a West Hollywood police station. Bail was set at $50,000.

Alan was released at around 1:30 p.m. He has a hearing scheduled for October 11 in Beverly Hills, CA.

"I was with him when he was released, and he was cooperative," Steve Whitmore, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman tells Us. "He was also cooperative while he was in custody. And, when he was arrested, it was without incident.”

The argument broke out after Alan accused Lesley of "hanging" with someone and "disrespecting" him, TMZ claims.

Hayden – who's dating co-star Milo Ventimiglia – has a warrant out for her arrest in Japan for obstruction of commerce after she attempted to block a pod of dolphins from being led into a nearby cove for massacre by fishermen.

Hayden also has a 13-year-old brother, Jansen.

"Tony cut my hair!" the actress, 33, tells Entertainment Tonight.

"I had to cut my hair for the show because Gabrielle has short hair," she says. "I wore a wig in the last episode, but I didn't want to wear a wig this whole season, so I was like, 'I'm going to cut it!'"

She says her hairstylist Ken Paves forced Parker to make the first move.

"He said, 'Tony, you're going to do the first cut, so she can't be mad at me,'" she says. "Tony did the first snip. He did more and then he did more and then Kenny cleaned it up."

She also revealed how she is packing on the pounds the next season of Desperate Housewives.

To make Gabrielle look like she has two kids, Longoria says she now eats "everything in sight! Pasta ... pizza.

"Tony and I went crazy this summer!" says Longoria, who also stopped working out.

Her other secret for looking heavier? "I have butt pads, I have thigh pads, I have stomach pads!"

Housewives creator Marc Cherry said at the Television Critics Association on Thursday that he plans to end the ABC series after seven seasons. The fifth season airs this fall.

On Sunday's season finale of Desperate Housewives, the show flashed ahead five years.

The highlights:

--Susan (Teri Hatcher) apparently isn't wed to Mike (James Denton) anymore. She is seen entering her house and calling out, "Honey, I'm home" — to a mystery man!

--Bree (Marcia Cross) is a star caterer and author of a cookbook. She also is back on with her husband Orson (Kyle MacLachlan).

--Gaby (Eva Longoria) is now a mom: Her two little girls are seen playing with her makeup and her clothes.

-- One of Lynette's (Felicity Huffman) twins, who are now teens, gets arrested for stealing a car.

-- Katherine (Dana Delaney) is elated because her daughter Dylan phones her to tell her she's getting hitched.

Eva Longoria also celebrated Brooklyn turning 9-years-old

With David Beckham in China with his LA Galaxy soccer team, Victoria was left in charge of son Brooklyn's birthday on Tuesday.

The Spice Girl enlisted Eva Longoria and Heidi Klum to celebrate Brooklyn's ninth birthday at Pink Taco in LA followed by a screening of the Spiderwick Chronicles.

Well-wishes also came in from China: fans at the Galaxy practice in Shanghai unfurled a "Happy Birthday Brooklyn" banner.

Last month, Victoria was a guest judge on Klum's Project Runway.

"She’s really great," Klum told Usmagazine.com. "She’s very opinionated about fashion, which I love. I like when someone says their piece about what they think instead of being wishy washy. I like her very much."

"We had a few guest judges and a lot of them would say things like, 'When is this thing over, I have to go,' and [Victoria] was no problem at all," Klum added. "She would say, 'however long it takes, that’s cool.' She was really great in that way."

The Project Runway finale airs tonight.

The presidential hopeful "has the strength to deliver change," the actress says

Barack Obama isn't attracting all the celebs.

Eva Longoria Parker emceed a town hall meeting for Hillary Clinton Monday in Austin, Texas.

"Thank you so much for this Texas-sized welcome," said Longoria Parker, who joined celebs Ted Danson and Melanie Griffith, who introduced questions from the audience of about 700. "On behalf of all my fellow Texans, I want to say bienvenidos, welcome."

Texas holds its highly contested primary today. When it came to backing Clinton (who was recently bashed by feminist author Camille Paglia for appearing on Saturday Night Live), Longoria Parker said she had no reservations.

“As a native of Texas, I know our state and our nation face big challenges ahead of us,” Longoria Parker said. “Hillary has proven she has the strength and experience to deliver the change we need.”
