Mel B Fights Back: Eddie Murphy Has Been "Extremely Disrespectful"

A secret wedding, a new baby and a child support battle on the horizon -- Spice Girl Melanie Brown has a lot to talk about.

And the Brit also known as Scary Spice opened up about them all for the first time on Thursday night's Larry King Live.

Brown wasted no time lashing out against ex Eddie Murphy, the father of her five-month-old daughter Angel Iris. In June, Murphy, who had initially denied being the father, was forced by the court to take a paternity test that proved Angel is his daughter.

"I think the most important thing to me is that Angel knows her dad," she told King. "And her dad is Eddie Murphy, and she has every right to know who he is."

She continued about her ex, "I think he's been extremely disrespectful and I don't think anybody should be allowed to get away with saying what he said whilst I was pregnant...Even when the DNA test results were in there was still nothing further said, which I found baffling. After all this, and still nothing? It's unacceptable."

Murphy only baffled Brown further with a statement that King read aloud on the broadcast, in which he denied Brown's claims that her pregnancy was planned by the couple, and asked for the matter to be handled privately.

"I wish we could handle it privately," she said, "But when my name is thrown out there when I'm four months pregnant, with the...'is it mine, I don't know,' of course I'm going to stand up for myself."

Still, both King and some viewers who sent in email questions wondered what exactly she wants from Murphy.

Brown explained: "I was waiting and hoping that he would do what he said he was going to do which was take care of the situation and be responsible. I believed that."

Seeking sole legal and physical custody of Angel Iris, Brown, 32, and lawyer Gloria Allred specified that any court action is simply to establish Murphy's legal paternity and a reasonable amount of child support.

The jilted Brown still showed that Murphy meant something to her, telling King, "At the end of the day the person that I fell in love with was amazing." But she quickly followed with, "The person that I know now...I'm kind of apalled."

On the happier topic of her June 6 secret marriage to movie producer Stephen Belafonte, Brown revealed, "We wanted it to be a private thing right now, and a commitment just for me and him. That was important."

And would she like to have children with him as well?

"Yeah, I'd like to, of course."

Gavin Rossdale's Babymama Calls Him a Deadbeat Dad

When word broke that Gavin Rossdale had unknowingly fathered his teenaged Goddaughter, Daisy Lowe, the news reportedly tested his relationship with wife Gwen Stefani. Since then, the pair have only seemed to grow stronger, and have welcomed a child of their own, one-year-old Kingston.

Now, Pearl Lowe, 18-year-old Daisy's mother, has written a book about her adventures in the British rock scene of the nineties, a scene in which Rossdale prominently figured. Interviewed about the tome in The Times, Lowe did not have flattering things to say about the former Bush frontman. Read on for excerpts:

On when she and Rossdale first had an inkling of daughter Daisy's paternity:
“Gavin [who was already in Daisy's life as her Godfather] came to me saying I think we need to find this out. But when we set up meetings to have DNA tests he didn’t show up. And it got weird and he stopped returning my calls.”

On Rossdale's absence from Daisy's life since DNA tests taken in 2004 proved he's her father:
“This guy’s a millionaire, he can at least give Danny [Lowe's partner and Daisy's father-figure] back the money he’s spent. It’s been a traumatic time for us. I lost my best friend, Daisy lost her godfather and doesn’t have a dad. And she lost self-worth. Because when someone rejects you like that, you wonder what’s wrong with you...When he had his baby with Gwen, Daisy’s half-brother, he didn’t even tell her. She’s never seen the baby. Not to take responsiblity and not to let your daughter even meet her grandparents and see her heritage is pretty sick.”

On whether she'd want to reconcile:
I really don’t care if I never see him ever again. He’s been incredibly vile. He saw Daisy at first, but he was always rude to her, he made it feel like it was her fault. It was her 18th birthday and there was no present, no phone call, nothing."

Rossdale's rep could not be reached for comment.

Report: Murphy to Submit DNA to Court

The world may soon know whether or not Eddie Murphy is the father of former Spice Girl Melanie Brown’s baby, Angel Iris.

Murphy, who Brown, 32, has always insisted is her child’s father, is due to appear in an L.A. court on Monday to submit to a paternity test, the British newspaper The Sun reports.

“Mel knows the baby is Eddie’s and can’t believe it has got to this point where she has to force him to acknowledge there is a chance he could be the father,” a source tells The Sun.

The comedian has so far refused to admit paternity of 2-month-old Angel Iris, born in April.

During an appearance last December on the Dutch talk show RTL Boulevard, Murphy, 46, was asked if he was happy with Mel "since she's pregnant with your child."

"You're being presumptuous because we're not together anymore," Murphy responded. "And I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir."

Murphy is reportedly supposed to be in London promoting Shrek The Third with costars Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers, but insiders doubt that he would skip out on the DNA test.

“If he tries to duck out of this test there will be all hell to pay,” says the source.

Mel B (aka Scary Spice) is also scheduled to attend the hearing. If Murphy shows up, it will be the first time the former couple has come face to face since the Dreamgirls star dumped Brown for film producer Tracey Edmonds last year.

The source adds: “At least this way they will know officially whether Eddie is the daddy or not and move on from there. This isn’t about the money, it’s about Angel knowing for sure who her dad is.”

Usmagazine.com has learned exclusively from Eddie Murphy's family rep that a rumor currently circulating on the web about his plumbing being plugged up is completely false.

To be more specific: Eddie Murphy's ex Melanie Brown (that's Scary Spice, to you), 31, has alleged that the 46-year-old comic is the father of her one-month-old daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown. And recently, his older brother, comic Charlie Murphy, was reportedly overheard telling fans that Eddie had gotten a vasectomy, making Mel's claims impossible.

But today, thanks to a statement from Charlie via his rep, we can lay to rest any questions about Eddie's potency.

"As far as I know, this [incident] never happened. How would I know if my brother had a vasectomy? Charlie Murphy does not have the itinerary on any man's penis!"

The announcement must come as both a relief and a disappointment to Murphy supporters. He can still father the next great stand-up, but he might have to stand trial to see if Angel Iris is already it.

Zsa Zsa Gabor’s Husband: I Might Be Dannielynn’s Dad

Prince Frederick von Anhalt, the husband of 90-year-old actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, announced Friday that he had a 10-year affair with Anna Nicole Smith and may be the father of her 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope, the Associated Press reports.

The claim by Prince Frederick von Anhalt, 63, comes amid a paternity suit over Smith's baby. The birth certificate lists Dannielynn's father as attorney Howard K. Stern, but former Smith boyfriend Larry Birkhead 34, is waging a legal battle, claiming he is the father.

"If you go back from September, she wasn't with one of those guys, she was with me," von Anhalt told the Associated Press in an interview Friday.

He said he would file a lawsuit if Dannielynn is turned over to Stern or Birkhead.

Von Anhalt and Gabor (who is 27 years his senior) wed in July 1986. He is her ninth husband.

The Hungarian-born actress suffered a stroke in 2005. In 2002, Gabor was hospitalized following a serious car accident. She was a passenger in the front seat of a car, driven by her hairdresser, when the vehicle crashed into a light pole in Los Angeles.

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is speaking out against Eddie Murphy’s recent statements questioning whether or not he is the father of her unborn child.

“I am obviously upset and distressed at some of the comments made by Eddie Murphy to the media,” the singer, who is five months pregnant, says in a statement. “I was astonished by what Eddie said – there is absolutely no question that Eddie is the father. My main concern is to concentrate on the well being of my daughter and baby."

During a recent appearance on the Dutch talk show RTL Boulevard, Murphy, 45, was asked if he was happy with Mel "since she's pregnant with your child."

Murphy began dating Brown (also known as "Mel B" and "Scary Spice") in June. However, the actor brought film producer Tracey Edmonds to the premiere of his film Dreamgirls on December 4, where she told reporters that the two have been dating for a month-and-a-half.

This news likely surprised Brown, 31, who said earlier this week, “We're in love...I can't wait to spend Christmas with him, and I can't wait to have this baby."

Anna Nicole Colors Her Baby’s Hair Because She’s Worth It

Did Anna Nicole Smith dye her new daughter's hair? According to the Associated Press, Larry Birkhead’s attorney is accusing Smith, 38, of darkening her infant daughter's locks to make it look like the baby’s father is Howard K. Stern.

Stern, 37, and Birkhead (who is Smith’s ex) have been in a bitter paternity battle since the child was born, with each claiming to be the child’s father.

Birkhead saw the child with dark hair in previewed snippets of Smith’s interview with Entertainment Tonight, scheduled to air Thursday.

Birkhead became suspicious of the baby’s darker hair color because he, himself, has sandy blonde locks (Smith has platinum hair which is probably dyed), while Smith's current love, Stern, sports naturally black hair.

"It's horrendous," Birkhead’s attorney Debra Opri said. "We are calling our experts right now to see if dyeing an infant's hair is any way toxic or harmful to a child."

Smith's attorney Ron Rule called the hair-coloring allegations ridiculous.

The allegedly tinfoiled tot, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, is barely two months old but is already the subject of two paternity lawsuits -- one filed in California and the other in the Bahamas, where Smith and Stern currently live.

Birkhead originally filed a lawsuit ordering that Smith and the child return to California for a paternity test. He filed a second lawsuit last week in the Bahamas alleging Smith and Stern committed fraud and conspiracy.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Smith was hospitalized with pneumonia at Doctors Hospital in Nassau, the same medical center where her son, Daniel, died under mysterious circumstances in September.

"She has a slight case of pneumonia," Smith's attorney Wayne Munroe told the AP. "We've had a sudden change of weather here due to a cold snap."

Anna Nicole’s Ex Demands Paternity Test

Anna Nicole Smith’s ex-boyfriend and aspiring baby daddy, Larry Birkhead, filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court Monday, demanding that Smith return to the U.S. with newborn daughter Dannielynn Hope and submit the baby to a paternity test, E! reports.

Birkhead's lawsuit contains "damning" allegations that Smith was taking methadone and that her attorney and boyfriend, Howard K. Stern, has been facilitating her habit.

Smith's ex accused the TrimSpa spokeswoman of fleeing to the Bahamas to keep her baby from being tested for drugs. Birkhead also alleged that Stern is claiming to be Dannielynn’s father for his own financial gain, and claims that Smith had asked a third unidentified man to say that he was the father of her child -- a plan which didn’t work out because the man had already had a vasectomy.

Birkhead requested in his petition that Smith and her daughter undergo drug testing. According to Birkhead’s attorney, Debra Opri, Birkhead is seeking legal and physical custody of the child.

"The public will be very surprised when they learn the details of the lifestyle this baby is going to be faced with if she remains in the current situation," Opri said in a statement.

Stern announced on Larry King Live last Wednesday that he is the father of Smith's baby. The following day, the couple exchanged vows in a non-binding commitment ceremony in the Bahamas.

"There is absolutely no way that [Stern] is the father of this child," Birkhead told MSNBC’s Rita Crosby. "He knows it, I know it and that's all there is to it. He challenged me on live television to get an attorney, so I have taken him up on his offer."

On September 10, Smith’s 20-year-old son, Daniel, died of a heart attack caused by a lethal combination of antidepressants and methadone, three days after Smith gave birth to Dannielynn.
