Jay-Z says privacy is the reason he and Beyonce won't talk about their wedding or marriage.

"I just think it's really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself," he tells Vibe in their September issue.

"You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you," the 38-year-old adds. "I shared so much of my life… I should have something to hold on to."

Beyonce, 26, and Jay-Z tied the knot over three months ago in a "very special, very private, very intimate" rooftop ceremony, according to a source close to the pair. He was finally spotted with his wedding ring last week.

Beyonce also showed off her wedding ring for the first time on Wednesday, when she saw Jay-Z perform at Madison Square Garden.

Jay-Z also tells Vibe why he's a strong supporter of Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

"What [Obama] represents is, we as a people are part of the American Dream," he says. "We were left out of the dream at a certain point. Now the dream is, you can be anything – and it's not cliché."

"It was love at first sight," a rep says of Heather Matarazzo and her partner

Actress Heather Matarazzo — known for her role as Lilly Moscovitz opposite Anne Hathaway in The Princess Diaries — is tying the knot.

Her rep tells E! News that the 25-year-old star has proposed to her girlfriend Carolyn Murphy.

"It was really cute. First Heather proposed to Carolyn, then Carolyn proposed to her," the rep says.

The rep adds that "it was love at first sight" when the two met a little more than a year ago.

Matarazzo isn't the only star heading down the aisle since California's Supreme Court recently shot down a law banning gay marriage.

Ellen DeGeneres said she and Portia de Rossi will wed soon.

Star Trek's George Takei is also planning a September wedding with his boyfriend.

She tells Elle they share "a similar spiritual outlook on life"

Mariah Carey says she's ready to have children — and there's nobody better to have them with than husband Nick Cannon.

"I couldn’t imagine anybody that I’ve ever met being a better dad," the singer, 39, tells August's Elle.

She says she wants to raise their kids with a dose of reality.

“You can get caught up in Hollywood-land or celebrity-land, and that’s maybe not the best thing for kids, ’cause they didn’t ask for it," she says.

"I really feel like it’s very important to be responsible and to think, 'Well, maybe if I do this it’s not the best thing for my child,'" she says.

"You have to take a backseat a little bit, and as someone in the public eye,
you’re not used to doing that."

She also says her relationship with Cannon, 27, is different than her previous marriage to music executive Tommy Mottola.

"I wasn’t in a real relationship," she says. "It was more of a friendship and a working situation.”

She says she and Cannon share "a similar spiritual outlook on life."

She adds that they purposely kept their relationship on the down-low before tying the knot in April.

"I think we didn’t want to give people a chance to be like, 'What are you doing? What are you talking about? This is so quick... are you sure?'" she says.

She also opens up about Cannon's two proposals. (Cannon recently told Usmagazine.com Carey is "amazing.")

He first popped the question on Carey's NYC roof, hiding a 17-carat diamond
ring inside a candy ring pop.

Then, she says, "he sort of kidnapped me and took me on a helicopter ride [and] re-proposed."

Ivana Bozilovic tells Us they will also celebrate his birthday

Bachelor Andrew Firestone and new wife Ivana Bozilovic arrived in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Sunday for their honeymoon.

The couple wed in a lavish ceremony at St. Mark's in the Valley Episcopal Church in Los Olivos, CA Saturday afternoon.

Before departing, Bozilovic told Us what they were most looking forward to about Cabo.

"Just being together, talking about the past three days [of festivities]," she said.

"Drink in hand, pool, massages, all of those things," she added.

Another reason to celebrate?

"It's Andrew's birthday while we're out there too," she said of her new husband, who turns 33 on Thursday.

"She makes me a better person," Firestone told Us in June of his wife, a model. "Never before have I been so gushy."

The tire heir, who co-owns the Curtis Winery, proposed to Bozilovic in 2007 while alone on a beach before a party he'd planned for her 30th birthday. He'd even helped design a 2.5-carat diamond ring for the occasion.

He tells Us the ceremony with girlfriend Katja will be "a part" of his reality show

Jason Wahler and Katja Decker Sadowski are gearing up for their upcoming wedding.

"We want to do it sooner rather than later," Sadowski told Usmagazine.com Wednesday at the PinkIsTheNewBlog launch party at Hollywood's S Bar. "But my parents want me to finish school first and that won't be until 2010. So we want to do it probably a little bit before graduation, but I need my parents' help to plan the wedding!"

Added Wahler (who used to date Lauren Conrad): "And if her parents don't agree, it's a no-go! So we are looking, realistically, at 12 to 15 months from now.

Wahler is pitching around a new reality show -- rapper Warren G has signed on -- and said the wedding "will be a part, but it's not going to be the focus of the show."

The two have gotten into marriage gear by moving in together.

"It's going well," Wahler said. "We have my assistant/best friend there too. It's kind of awkward, but what the hell!"

Sadowski's take?

"It's like You, Me and Dupree!" she told Us. "Sometimes it can be a little too much!"

At least they aren't sharing space with Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.

Asked about the pair, Wahler laughed and said to his publicist, "I’m being very careful."

He added, "I wish them the best of luck. Seriously, they’re just not my type of people, so, I mean, I don’t follow them, I don’t care about them.

"They do their own thing," he added, "and I do my own thing."

Andrea Canning married a pilot she met while on assignment in Baghdad

Good Morning America correspondent Andrea Canning got married on Saturday to a Marine captain she met while on assignment in Baghdad.

Canning, 35, wed USMC f-18 Super Hornet pilot Captain George Anthony Bancroft II, 33, in Blue Mountain, Ontario, Canada.

The bride's dress was designed by Anthony La Bate for Francesca Couture. It was a custom crepe back satin crocheted and embroidered gown.

They're honeymooning in Maui.

The couple was set up by ABC News Chief White House correspondent Martha Raddatz.

The reality star "feels like everyone else is putting the pressure on it"

Here comes the bride…eventually.

Carmen Electra says she's "taking it slow" planning her wedding to rocker Rob Patterson.

"I feel like everyone is putting the pressure on it," Electra told Usmagazine.com at the Dodge Celebrity Drag Race in southern California June 3. "He's been great. I feel so lucky."

Electra, 36, became engaged to her boyfriend of less than a year, 37, in April.

Patterson gave his bride-to-be a 2-carat black diamond ring estimated to be worth $100,000. Check out other celeb engagement rings here.

The pair haven't set a wedding date yet and "haven't even had time to think about it. Literally," Electra tells Us.

"We flew to Dubai for the opening of the new Fox movie Channel, and then straight to New Orleans and then Shreveport," where Electra is filming Disaster Movie.

In the meantime, Electra has been sporting a more permanent symbol of affection to her beau: a tattoo on her neck in a cursive "R" that she says she "got a few months ago."

She paid tribute to Tony Romo's team while leaving Mexico Thursday

It's still mystery whether or not Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo are together.

But if they did call it quits, the split must be amicable.

Simpson sported a Dallas Cowboys cap while leaving Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Thursday.

The singer has been south of the border with just her parents, Joe and Tina, since her pregnant sister Ashlee tied the knot on May 17. (Romo and Simpson had taken trips with Joe and Tina before.)

(Ashlee, meanwhile, was in the Caribbean honeymooning with Pete Wentz. See the pregnant star in a bikini here.)

In a radio interview Tuesday, Wentz played coy when asked if Simpson and Romo were still an item.

"I don't know anything about what's going on with them," he told Ryan Seacrest. "I'm so busy clearing up my own rumors!"

At their wedding, Simpson and Romo "seemed like they were dancing. It seemed like it was a good time."

Sure, Jenna Hager was excited about planning her May 10 nuptials to Henry Hager — but not nearly as much as First Lady Laura Bush.

"She did start calling me Momzilla!" Laura admits on an upcoming episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show (airing Wednesday, May 28).

Adds Jenna, 26: "She liked the details more than I did!"

Laura says, "It really kind of hurt my feelings."

Still, Jenna, who just attended her husband's graduation, says she was glad to have her mother's input.

"She’s just really good with details about parties — I would not have thought of some of the details," says Jenna, who jokes her appearance on DeGeneres' show was "sort of like a therapy session."

Her daughter's wedding isn't the only milestone for the First Lady. In January, she will be vacating the White House after eight years.

"It’s a long time to live in the White House and to have that kind of stress," she says. "There are a lot of things I’m looking forward to."

She says she's "going to keep a little book of things that I want to do ... like garden."

Jokes Jenna, "Today she said, 'I just can’t wait to garden.' I was like, 'Yeah, right!'"
