The Real Housewives of New Jersey

The Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) was the fourth series introduced in the Real Housewives franchise and premiered on Bravo in May 2009. The show documents the personal and professional lives of affluent women living in New Jersey.

Originally, the cast included Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, Teresa Giudice, Dina Cantin and Danielle Staub. For the first time in the Real Housewives franchise, cameras followed costars who are related to one another: sisters Caroline and Dina were married to brothers Albert and Tommy Manzo, respectively, and Jacqueline is married to Caroline and Dina’s brother, Chris Laurita. However, Dina and Tommy are now separated.

The third season introduced new Housewives Melissa Gorga, Teresa’s sister-in-law, and Kathy Wakile — and delivered the highest- rated season premiere in both Bravo and Housewives history at the time.

RHONJ stars have appeared in more programs on the network, from the Giudice family’s three-part special, Teresa Checks In, to the first season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip on Peacock, which featured Teresa and Melissa.

RHONJ began production on season 14 in 2023.
