Supporting this war IS actually supporting our troops, THAT IS WHERE THEY ARE: THEY ARE FIGHTING THIS WAR. I think our servicemen/women would disagree with you about your point. When they are risking and Giving their lives for you, Mikaela, the least you could do was show support and not bad mouth the country,government,and citizens they are fighting for. Also, I shudder to think of what would've happened if Al Gore had won the election nine months before 9/11. What would he have done to the terrorists? I love how all of you America Haters rise to Sean Penn's defense! To me, as a military spouse, this blog is yet another indication of how clueless Americans truly are about 1)their role in the electorate 2)the military and its function 3) what's truly going on in Iraq, and 4) what it takes to defeat terrorism. I'm not really surprised anymore since many of you voted (or wasted a vote) for the Democrats. I love how many Americans, on the surface, say they support our military, but deep down inside the dark crevices of their hearts, it's a lie. I don't need your freakin' support since I know the source. Instead, it's more important to get government giveaways such as welfare, social security, medicaid/medicare, and continued, useless, free government education (of which most of you are "shining" examples). everyone on this page who is bashing our President, what are you doing with your life to make this a better country and safer place to live? Are you keeping up with current events? (not just through blogs but real news organizations) Do you understand out history and all the men that died for our freedom and the right to live in piece. These people want us DEAD. They do not care about you or your family they would kill you as soon a look at you and feel nothing because they are monsters.
