That is one of the most ignorant things anyone can ever say. How can you tell people that a little girl is better off without her dad when you dont even know anything about their relationship and probably know nothing at all about him. I guarantee you're just a drug addict yourself who has nothing better to do than post ignorant comments on here because you're pissed that your life sucks. Seriously eff off. No one should pretend like they know anything about heath's situation. He should be respected for his amazing performances not ridiculed because people think its cool to make up rumors. Even if you didnt like him, being an as shole and disrespectful is unecessary. Regardless of the situation, heath ledger had an unfortunate death. God bless his family, ecspecially Matilda.

Heath Ledger and Mary-Kate Olsen were dating, sources tell the New York Post and New York's Daily News.
As reported, a masseuse who arrived at Ledger's apartment Tuesday first called Olsen before 911 when she discovered the actor's body.
Olsen's number was programmed into Ledger's phone, the Post claims.
According to the Daily News, Olsen's bodyguard later confirmed to police that two were dating (though her rep says they're just friends). The Post quotes a police source as saying the two had a "mutual relationship."
According to a law enforcement official who spoke to the Post, the masseuse called Olsen first because "she didn't want a media circus." The Daily News reports that the masseuse called Olsen "for guidance."
Olsen told the masseuse she would send her security guards to the downtown Manhattan apartment.
After the masseuse tried to rouse Ledger, she discovered that his body was cold, the Post reports, so she called Olsen again. "I think he's dead," she said.
Olsen replied, "I already have people coming over."
The masseuse then told Olsen she was calling 911.

look im not saying that heaths death wasnt sad but really people lay of mary kate.. she could have something to do with it and she could Not have had anything to do with it..they obviously loved each other if the were 2gether all the time. all i am trying to say is heath was an awesome person and deserved to live as much as any1...yes even mary kate. and personaly i dont think she killed him so u think what u want but i wont believe it until i see and hear it from her own mouth

I really want to think he didn't go out with mary-kate, but if anyone watched comedy central's roast of bob saget they made a crack that "one was licked by heath ledger" referring to mary-kate. I was shocked and I don't really know why i care so much when i herd that, but come on. The joker was SEXY! :D

I just want to say there are a mix of comments on here, some believe he was a junkie, some say cover up, etc etc... we (any of us) do not know what went on, who is responsible for what, if it was an accident or not, so we should just focus on the FACT that Heath died from somekind of prescribed drug overdose (intended or otherwise), his family are hurting, no matter what the truth is.
We should forget about Mary-Kate, if she was somehow implicated or involved and seems to have 'gotten away with it' she will get her comeuppance in the end.
Yes the maid/massuer was stupid, yes it sounds suspicious the steps she took before calling 911, but some people do stupid things in a crisis. As I said none of know what went on, only Heath truly knows what happened, the rest is hearsay.

it is hard to "accidentally" overdose on pills, you have to know what you are doing. especially sleeping pills. you have to consume half the bottle or more, he also had 2 other drugs which they said interacted with the other doses that were found.people who are depressed are capible of anything, harming themselves isolation, thoughts of suicide and so further. yes, even though he had his daughter and the world to live for, depression is not at a right state of mind, there for he may have not been thinking clearly.it is a tragic loss in hollywood
I don't think they were dating. She owned the SoHo apt. building he was living in and they were close friends. But then again no one except them really know if they were dating. But I hate all these rumors going around about MK giving Heath drugs. Soon we will all forget about how much of a tragedy his death is and only care about if she was behind it or not. I think it is VERY suspicious that she won't talk about his death unless she has immunity but I feel terrible for his daughter. She'll have to grow up now without her amazing father.
PS Anyone that wouldn't call 911 when someone is laying unconscious right away is very ignorant!

I agree with everybody that supports Heath.
He is a great guy and always would be so ppl should just lay off.
Its common sense. Shes a junkie, hes dead. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure it out. She got him some dog/meds/whatev, or got him in the habit, or enabled, or even shared, he took too much, hes gonedi.
The massage lady clearly knew those two were havin secks and doin drugs together. She finds him all dashed out, and just uses logic to call his drug buddy to see what went down. Now whatever story is fabricated in the next few days will be the next dissertation of debate among the plethora of little girls who crushed on him and media gossips, but its clearly obvious to anyone with a brain and an education beyond mtv cribs, they were junkies.
For christs sakes, look at the girl in any recent photo. You do not carry those expressions and general demenor unless you are severely intoxicated on opiants or benzo's(xanax/Valium)
First of all...it DOES NOT MAKE SENSE to call ANYONE but 911 when a person is found unconscious. Since Heath was cold when they found him, he was already gone, but if this were not the case then calling 911 first is top priority, not calling another celebrity for advice. The maid is obviously a dumb ass. Another thing...whoever said they feel sorry for Mary Kate for losing her boyfriend is retarded. They weren't dating! If you want to feel sorry for anyone, feel sorry for Michelle and Matilda. Also, this was not a suicide. He had too much to live for, and he was not a 'junkie'.

I love when people comment on situations like this by saying "you guys are all stupid! Who cares who he was dating?" To a point they're right because in the light of what happened that is the lease important thing...however, the person who made that comment read this article as well...so obviously THEY cared just as much as everyone else. Save your judgment.

I think you are all being very stupid! It is none of anyones business who Heath was or wasnt dateing. And as far as those of you who wanna talk smack about his role in the broke back moutain movie....well you guys just need to get a life. It was a movie and you can say what you like but at least once in everyones life they wonder what it would be like to be with someone of the same sex. Its life. Stop being childish and grow up. I think he was a very wonderful person and i remember him for all the wonderful movies he was in. I know how bad his family must feel. My heart goes out to them and they are in my prayers every night.

Apparently none of you have been around a dead person before. Unfortunately, I have. The body stays warm for a couple hours. If it was cold already, the massuer arrived long after he was already dead. Also, when a celebrity is involved, there are many things to consider that us "normal" people would dismiss. Of course, she would call one of his closest friends to get advice on how to handle the situation because of the media, and all the crappy rumors like the ones posted here...duh....?!
It's a shame his career is over, in his short life he showed us the depth of what he could do. In 10 Things..you saw the spark in his eyes that he was destined for greatness. I hope his legacy is not tarnished by drugs. If that had been his lifestyle,it would have been reported while he was living. I'll miss him, he did leave us with great memories. Perhaps the pills Heath has were that of Olsen.....who would want to date the Olsen? They were cute when they were young...but they look like freaks as adults. Their thinness suggests perhaps they are heroine addicts/drug addicts.....Very suspicious the Masseur made 3 or 4 + call to the Olsen? and she has her bodyguard to ck and the masseeur did not call 911 and call Olsen 1st? That is just not "common sense" and something fishy here.....seem like a coverup to me...
Heath Ledger was one of the most inspiring actors of our time. He took risks that always paid off (including Brokeback Mountain). I get so angry that the only movie that anyone even remembers Heath for is Brokeback Mountain even though he has got a body of work that is one of the best of our time. Movies like Lords of Dogtown, Candy, Casanova, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Order, I'm Not Here, The Dark Knight and the Brother's Grimm. The only reason he is remembered most for Brokeback Mountain is because he was nominated for an Academy Award which I think is rediculous. He was an actor for the people. He wasn't one of those celebrities that wore expensive clothes ,had expensive cars, or had expensive homes. He tried to live his life as quietly as he could and all he wanted was his privacy respected. Now Matilda is without her father, his parents are without their son, his sister is without her brother, and his aunts and uncles are without their nephew. We have lost a great man in Heath Ledger and we have lost a great acting artist and he will be sorely missed by everyone who was a fan of his work, loved, and knew him best. I think everyone needs to quit focusing on his death and start celebrating his life and how much Heath Ledger contributed to the world and the people that he affected in it.
My husband thinks Heath couldn't handle the pressure of negative press from the "Brokeback Mountain" movie and realized that the risk he took didn't pay off, but ended his career and Heath realized that.
I think my husband is not thinking of the little girl left behind that would have made any parent put all that unimportant press aside and realize what is really important in life. I mourn her loss with her and couldn't imagine life without my father. This is the difference between how men and women think I guess.
My prayers go out to the Ledger family and friends. I truly am sorry for this tragic, senseless loss. I'll miss the humor and smile, but I will never forget it.
this has been a really tragic accident and people should just let the ledger family have there funeral and move on with there loss. poor little matilda does not have a father anymore and people are worried about who he was dating. some people really need to grow up. and those stupid protesters need to just leave his family alone. he was acting in a movie it does not mean that he was gay but even if he had chosen that lifestyle he should not be condemned for it. my heart goes out to matilda, michelle and the ledger family. rip in heath you were one great actor
I really don't think he intentionally killed himself. Maybe it was an accident or some other natural cause. People come on get positive! And stop the stupidity!!!
