Regis Philbin Becomes a Grandfather

Regis Philbin is a proud new grandfather!

Daughter Jennifer "J.J." Philbin gave birth to William Xavier Schur Monday after 30 hours of labor. (Xavier was Regis' confirmation name.)

"He's got strawberry red hair," Philbin announced on Live with Regis and Kelly Tuesday morning.

J.J. is married to Michael Schur; both are television writers.

William weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 19 inches long.

shame on Regis for not keeping in touch with his first daughter Amy since 1991 and her children. He never recognized these children and only mentions his children and grandchild from his present marriage, shame on you Regis

Regis' first grandson is from his oldest daughter, Amy, who is the sister of his only son, Dan. Both Amy and Dan are from his first marriage to Catherine Faylen.

Regis' first grandson, McIntire, is the son of Amy and Dan Ferguson. Ferguson is a well known studio musician.
