With only days till the potentially life-changing fashion show, the finalists - Christian, Jillian, Rami - are swept up in a whirlwind of sewing and stressing. And Tim Gunn's feedback doesn't lighten the mood. "What happened to the cocky, confident Christian?" Gunn asks. Turns out the visibly shaken front-runner is second-guessing his designs, which he confesses are "not all wearable." Really? An ombre feathered gown not suitable for the real world? Say it ain't so!

But there's no time for regrets, as the designers are off to pick their models. While Rami is pleased with his, Jillian flip-flops. Ever the professional, Christian tells his, "Be really skinny - don't eat."

Back in the studio, Tim gets all teary-eyed and tells the top three he's never seen talent like theirs before. Cue the group hug! It's just the love the finalists need before facing the tough crowd at New York Fashion Week. Jillian, who's up first, shows a very wearable collection with sleek silhouettes, pleated skirts and, of course, fitted coats. Rami, who tells the audience that his collection "celebrates women," does just that, showing beautiful outfits, including many elegant gowns, with his signature draping. And Christian is all avant-garde, with impractical (but stunning) pieces like a massive ruffled neck piece paired with the largest brimmed hat known to man.

The judges - Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Michael Kors and Very Special Guest Victoria Beckham - then weigh in: Beckham calls Jillian's collection "feminine," but Nina thinks it's disjointed. Christian wins the ultimate compliment from Posh, who dubs his work "major," or should we say "may-jah." Rami finds an equally fierce supporter in Klum, who "loves" his collection.

But draping and femininity are no match for ruffles and feathers: A suddenly humbled Christian is the winner. "Do you believe it?" Gunn asks the wunderkind, who quickly recovers and shoots back, "Yeah." Hey, Tim: There's your confident, cocky Christian.
