Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears made a rare appearance in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.
Hiding her bump in a baggy hooded-sweatshirt, the Zoey 101 star, took her black and white puppy to the veterinarian Friday.
(The 16-year-old wore a similar oversized sweatshirt when she was last photographed leaving a GED class with her mom Lynne January 4.)
On Saturday and Sunday, Spears went out with her beau, Casey Aldridge, the father of her baby.
Hand-in-hand, they went to a convenience store Saturday. Spears sported a white Heineken beer T-shirt that showed the faintest hint of her growing stomach.
The next day, Spears and Aldridge ran errands, stopping to kiss every now and then.
Her dad is currently in Beverly Hills looking after older sis Britney.

8:55.....maybe they did need parenting classes, however they are not a pathetic excuse for offspring, yes they have problems, jamie got pregnant, doesn't make her a bad person...and NO MATTER HOW WELL A PERSON PARENTS THEIR CHILDREN..THE CHILD WILL MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS...just cause someone is a good parent doesn't mean their children won't make mistakes. There are plenty of great parents out there whos 16yr olds are having sex and getting pregnant, doesn't mean the parents did anything wrong.
11:19....you asked "what do we do now".....NOTHING!!!!! Its nobodys problem but there own...it doesn't involve us at all, so why she we do anything? Its not our place to be pleased or proud or disappointed in her...we are not her parents or any part of her family or friends.
Leave the girl alone, yes she made a mistake, but at least shes owning up to it and being an adult.

People are acting so self-righteous about this - guess what? Most 16 year olds have sex. The only difference between her and the rest is that she "got caught". I don't know whether or not they used birth control and it really is none of my business. There is nothing morally wrong with being stupid, however - and that is what you are if you are 16 and don't use birth control. The moral part comes in with the having sex at 16 - and if you want to slam this kid, be sure to include every other 16 year old in a relationship. And if you think your 16 year old isn't - or wouldn't if the opportunity presented itself - get your head out of the sand.

There is nothing this girl should be proud of. She is walking around like she did a beautiful thing by making this baby. Yeah she has to take responsibility for what she did, but not because she is a 16 year old playing at being grown up. Wow, this girl is pregnant and being followed everywhere she goes. She has to get things done like anyone else. I see teen mothers from time to time, and have known a few in the past. It happens. Cut the girl some slack. Zoey 101 won't be around, so hopefully enough of her fanbase won't have that image RIGHT in their faces, unless your kid is watching E! on the tube. Hope not.
It's not that serious. She can handle her own.
Her sister is a different story. She shines a pretty bright light on the Spears' family. I hope she gets her act together, for the kids and for me because I'm getting bored with 24/7 Britney news coverage. That gossip has been hot for too long now, no?

It just may very well be that the universe has a way of working things out on its own. It's quite possible that Jamie's pregnancy is the blessing, the bridge, that will unite this family. I think Jamie Lynn will be a great mom, and maybe Britney, now having something in common with her sister once her sister has the baby, will come around.
