CNN has won the battle for Paris.
A CNN rep confirms to Usmagazine.com that Paris Hilton has agreed to give her first post-jail television interview to Larry King this Wednesday night. The network tells Us the interview will be conducted over the entire hour of the program in the Larry King Live studio in Los Angeles and, according to a CNN source, "Paris will not be paid a dime for the interview."
CNN spokesperson Bridget Leininger also tells Us: "Larry doesn't tell us production details, but what I can tell you is that Larry does not pay for interviews and there are no ground rules."
The news that Hilton, who is scheduled to be released this Tuesday from the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, will share details of her 23-day incarceration with CNN - for free - comes just one day after a $1 million deal with NBC News reportedly fell through and after family friend Barbara Walters reportedly declined a personal request by Hilton that she conduct a paid interview for ABC. A $300,000 photo exclusive with People was also reportedly scrapped.
Hilton's interview on Larry King Live will air Wednesday at 9 p.m. E.T.

My opinion of the Paris issue is that we have heard enough about her and it is time to hear more news worthy items going on today. Yes I do agree that she did make a very terrible mistake and she could have killed someone and then what would happen to her then? She should not be treated like a celebrity when something like this happens even though she has all kinds of money- when someone is killed through drunk driving, that will always remain with you until you die. She should turn her life around and do something good to show the public that she cares about other things instead of going to bars all night long.

I'm so sick of hearing about "Paris Hilton". (Welcome to the real world Paris!!!) Like any of us really give a sh**. what was prison was like for her. So she went to jail for a little over a month. Bit deal...the world's not ending! She's lucky she even got the sentence she got. In Ohio, things are different. So I have no sympathy for this girl, nor do I like her. (My opinion).I think there are better stories out there within the "celebrity world". This is such a time waster, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is sick of seeing her face on every magazine cover.

So... let me guess. Now that she will be released there will be some lame stupid story everyday on here about how she is becoming a "new" person. Paris is old news and is an old story. I personally would like to see ALL paris stories drop off the face of the earth for about 6 months. Then come backa dn talk how you're changed. Maybe then some people will actually buy it.

I love that she is once again getting all of this press for something like this. I don't feel sorry for Paris Hilton, I wouldn't feel sorry for anyone who thinks that drinking and driving "isn't a big deal". I do however feel sorry for the families who have had to lose a loved one because of people like Paris who are selfish and inconsiderate. Instead of feeling sorry for yourself Paris, be thankful you got pulled over and didn't kill anyone.

They have a link that you can give commence/feedback at "contact us" bar, at the bottom of the page. From "contact us" link, just click on CNN TV, the commence/feedback form will show up, and you can tell them what you think.
I just wrote "stop the interview with Paris Hilton!" in the commence block provided.

I think it would have been a great idea to pardon Paris. The Gov. could have saved the state a lot of $$$$$. Although it was probably money well spent. Now the police are preparing to rope off her street????? How much is that costing? And why aren't the police out there getting the people hurting children. I bet the police are really mad. Yeah I know I sound pathetic but I'm killing some time and I must say I've gotten bored with US mag and find TMZ.com more interesting to read. They don't have articles that were written by 5 yr olds with bad humor and they care enough about their site to always have new stories, etc.

You don't have to be driving drunk to be a threat to others. And I'd say driving down a road at 11pm with no headlights while going 70 mph is deserving of some jail time when a person has previous driving infractions.
