Kellie Dawn Pickler is an amazing singer and over all person! The songs on her cd tell her story. If you have not bought her first album "Small Town Girl" you really should!
Kellie is by far one of the BEST American Idols there has ever been!

Don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but musically speaking, Kellie Pickler's album is by far the weakest of the releases from former Idol contestants. Hopefully she can find a niche because her CD is not selling very well and the singles aren't getting much air time here in Nashville. She hasn't broken through here yet.
Kellie's album will stack very highly among past Idol's because she made a great album. But don't just take my word for it, you can go to Amazon and read the reviews left by Idol fans.
I checked all the reviews left for last season's contestants and when I looked at the reviews of Chris, Elliott, Kat, and Taylor I saw alot of their own fans didn't like the album their favorite produced.
Yet when you look at Kellie's reviews you won't find one of her fans who said they didn't like her album. That's because they liked the music Kellie produced.
Bucky's just came out so there aren't many reviews to go by but so far there haven't been any complaints.
As for the Idols before Season five, I haven't read their reviews, I still have a life and don't have time to read them all. But I already learned what I needed to know anyway. That is the rest of the fans like Kellie's music just as much as I do.
What do I think of Kellie's album? I think Kellie out did herself. Having her co-write many of the songs was a brilliant move. Having her pick out the other songs was a good choice as well because the songs reflect her more personally. Doing all this helped Kellie in making an album her fans truly like. That stacks pretty high in my book.
Loving it. Can't wait for the next album!
Kellie's CD has lots of personality in her songs just like the great personality she has as a person. I love listening to her songs, all day long. She is by far my pick from all the American Idols. I admire what she has done with her life, she has come a long way. You have to remember how she was growing up in an unstable family, at least she has what it takes to make a better life for her self.. I would say she is one smart girl..Kellie has a great career ahead. We love you KELLIE DAWN PICKLER. GOD BLESS YOU KELLIE. YOU GO GIRL
A followup to what I posted long time ago ... so it seems my "prediction" was right. She's earned a Gold Record and two nominations, one for CMT BEST BREAKTHROUGH VIDEO for "Red High Heels" and one for Academy of Country Music as new "New Female Vocalist." Kellie is going places.
Kellie's CD will do great. I love the cd and its all about what Kellie is about. The song "I Wonder" brings tears to your eyes and its a great song. I fell in love with that song and "Red High Heels". I put "Red High Heels" on my Ipod and listen to it all the time. I think Kellie will have a great career and will be reall successful. I really can't compare it to the past idols. All the idols are unique in their own right and have different music styles.
Kellie's album is already Gold..and is well on it's way to becoming Platinum..and much deserving.
There's a couple of songs that are very touching..and the rest are very fun & uplifting. It's a breath of fresh air, just like Kellie.
Kellie Pickler deserves alot of respect,this cd is great the writting behind the music tells a story of this young lady...she deserves the stardom she is walking into in those ...RED HIGH HEELS ...I WONDER ......SHOULD BE A SONG POSTER FOR CHILD ABUSE.....THIS GIRL DESERVES CREDIT WHERE ALL THE CREDIT IS DUE........GREAT JOB KELLIE PICKLER.

Ok Album, Ok Vocals - Nowhere near carries vocal range, power, control etc though. The billboard review says it best when he says more like a pam tillis than a martina mcbride. Enough to do well with this cd though!
I heard the full album on CMT.com. I think some of the songs are great songs, particulary "Didn't you know how much I loved you". Unfortunately, it was about the only one song that I could listen to without having to turn the volume way down. Kellie's voice is whiny and screechy, and it is almost painful to listen to. If these same songs were sung by a different voice, I'd probably buy it, but I will not throw my money away on something so amateurish. I have bought at least 10 of the AI CD's - Kelly Clarkson (both), Diana DeGarmo, Clay's (2) Bo Bice, Carrie Underwood, Josh Gracin, and all of the compilation AI CD's, but I will not be buying this one. I will wait for Katharine's and Chris' CD's to come out.
Kellie's CD is one of the best ever recorded by anyone who has been on American Idol so it stacks up very well. One of the top 3 Idol debut albums! Clarkson, Underwood, and Pickler all rock!
This is DEFINETELY my favorite CD. Every song is so genuine, so...Kellie :). Picking Pickler is easily one of the best decisions I've ever made! :D I'm so proud of you Kellie!!!! :D All of us Pickler Pack know you will soar and we're so happy to see all of your dreams coming true!
Kellie Is a great singer.. I loved her from day one.. And knew she would shine.. My daughter wasn't a fan Of Kellie's. But When she heard Red High Heel, She started to like Kellie. But as soon as she heard, I wonder.. She has also fell in Love with Kellie. She had me print the song off. And she plays it over and over singing to it.. Said she wants to learn it.. Kellie Thank you.. You are the best. And glad you gave us the chance to get to hear and love you.. I hope the best for you always.. Keep doing what your doing.. Even with some people out there have bad things to say.. Take your words, And kick them to the curb.. Cause there is so many that loves you.. Your the best...
Love it love it love it. Her personal songs brought tears to my eyes. She has been blessed and will be a blessing to everyone who allows her sweet spirit and talent to enter their hearts. May God heal her hurts and fulfill His plan for her life.
My only disappointment was in the beginning of the "Red High Heels" video which appealed to those interested in the sexy Kellie - making it less appropriate for all the little girls who idolized her on American Idol. I really wish she had not agreed to that opening "scene" in the video. My 5 year old granddaughter viewed Kellie as a "princess" - and I wouldn't want her to view the video.
I absolutely love it. It is a little bit of everything. The first time I heard her CD, I was so overcome with all kinds of emotions. Every song is good, and is so full of the Kellie, we have all come to love. Each song has the potential of being in the top 20 and more than one being #1. How is she stacking up against other idols? Let's just say she will be around for years to come.
Kellie will do great...i heard her album and i loved it...she's for real and i'm more proud than ever to be a Kellie Bean ^^
I love her album! I hate comparisons but I think that it is right up there with Carrie Underwood's amazing CD. I do think that she will sell albums and have continued-long term success.
I have heard her CD on CMT and i am highly impressed with it.I think it will sell good.As far as past idol are concerned, it will superceed most of them.After hearing the songs i predict atleast platinum and atmost double platinum.And below this would be huge disappointment because this CD has alot of good songs which are wonderfully produced by blake.
She will be as formidable like those before her. Kellie rocks!
Kellie debut album is one of the best CDs 'Idol' alumni has produced so far. It is very vibrant, intimate, honest, and full of Kellie's personality. The CD is like her personality wrapped in melody. It's fun to listen to. I'm sure this album will join the ranks of past top calliber 'Idols.' With an album like this, she is poised for a very long successful career in the music business. Good job Kellie!
