I just read that you will not have anything about Paris Hilton in this week'd issue of US Weekly and I would just like to say, "THANK YOU!!!"...It is about time someone in the media felt the same disgust over her unneccessary publicity as the rest of the world does!!!

Your decision that the population of the United States had grown weary of Paris Hilton was about a year (or more) too late. Just like Anna Nicole Smith, Britney Spears, and other vacuous people who have contributed N O T H I N G to our society, Paris Hilton is a non-entity. Proving she has sh*t for brains, SHE took her driving test, SHE (supposedly) read her driver's manual, and still she asked her publicist (as if she needed to ask anyone) if it would be OK if she drove while on the revoked list. The lack of working brain cells clearly left her without a clue as to what the word 'revoked' means. The incessant ga-ga over these brainless twits is just one of the reasons we have so many stupid people walking the streets who can barely spell their own names or engage in any meaningful conversation. Do the thinking people of America a favor: at least get your magazines off the newsstands and make them available by subscription only. People, like water and electricity, will ALWAYS follow the path of least resistance and, by having trash like yours readily available is why many people choose to read it instead of something with thought-provoking content.

After viewing your interview with Ms. Ming and the office a.m. meeting I no longer will buy your magazine. I noticed you had no African American or Hispanic employees sitting at the oval table. What's up with that????

Wow! Wendi, you sound like a very well educated woman! Thank you for all the facts! I have a friend that went off the deep end and had to put himself in a methadone clinic for getting himself addicted to oxycotten (sp???) I am just curious to know if he was prescribed this or if he got the drugs elsewhere! I do believe this was an accident, it's just very sad!

As for who is the father of her baby girl... I don't know anything about either one! I just hope this baby girl grows up in a "normal" environment with loving parents...

All i can say is, I hope they straighten out all of this drama before this innocent baby girl grows up and can figure out what is going on.

Sorry, witchy, I dissappeared and didn't get to answer you. I see that people are wondering if you can mix antidepressants and/or anti-anxiety medication (Lexapro and Zoloft, both SSRIs) and the answer to those would be yes, you can mix some and they often are mixed purposefully to acheive the desired results i.e. helping with depression or anxiety. Mixing them depends on the type of medication they are: SSRIs or MAOIs are two kinds. Those types should not be mixed, MAOIs often interact with other drugs and foods, not just other antidepressants, but mixing SSRIs is common practice. A lot of people will not see results with the first or even fifth drug they try and will see results only with mixing them. Without having actual tests to see how all this works, only having the basic idea, you can't really pinpoint which will help. Antidepressants don't work like, say, a tranquailizer does. They work with the chemicals in the brain instead, the serotonin in the case of SSRIs, and how it is absorbed in the body. (There are also other drugs that do the same for other conditions. It is a thought that IBS may becaused by serotonin in the gut. The newer Zelnorm works with that.) It would typically take a lot of SSRIs to OD from them. Many people can OD in the sense that they take too much and have no side effects at all.

Now if there was methadone in his system that is an entirely different story as Wendi said. As she stated it is often given to heroin addicts in recovery even though it's chemical makeup is unlike heroin, so that ought to give an idea about it's possible potency. And again, as Wedni said, it used as a painkiller. It is often used when the patient will be using it for a period of time because A.) it's cheap and B.) it's able to be taken less frequently than many other drugs.
(SIDE NOTE: Methadone is another pet peeve of Scientologists. They managed to combine their use of WWII as the evil behind everything they are against and their hatred of drugs in this one. They insist that one of the names for methadone, Dolophine, was named for Hitler by German creators. Some insist that the original name was Adolphine. Tom Cruise repeated at least some of this in 2005. However, Dolophine was created after the war by an American company and the name Adolphine was never the actual name of the drug, but and urban ledgand started in the US in the 70's.)

All this said a typical dose of all this medication, or even a double dose, should not have caused an overdose. But how many accidental overdoses have we seen? Look at Terrell Owens in the news today. I have seen some people who take a tranq or a painkiller and forget they took it so they take another and end up looped out of their gourds. I just can't imagine some one deciding on suicide and doing so in a hospital (where they could conceivably be saved) and in a room with their mother and another who cared for them like family. That's a whole lot of potential stoppage there. There have been so many false reports in this case that I won't believe it until it is confirmed by a reputable person involved, whether it be family or officials.
