I disagree with some of you who said katie can't act.I saw some of her movies she is fine in her acting but she needs a lot to mature .The bad thing for her is she over shadowed by Tom's crazy antics and his superstardom. It is hard to break that.
About Nicole kidman... being a wife of Tom Cruise helps her to be famous no denial there. She is also a good actress. Katie is only 29. Nicole is 41. It took Nicole sometime to be where she is.If Katie found that grounded place, She will reach where Nicole is now or at least better than what she is right now. If her Broadway show gets good reviews, there is a chance for her to break if not I don't see how she going to make it.

I love, love, love, love Nicole Kidman. I've always been a fan of hers. She's a fantastic actress and she takes risks with all her movie roles. People really started to talk about Nicole after her divorce from Tom, because in reality, it was always known that Tom was holding her back. Tom wanted her to do a movie every now and then, but he really wanted her to stay at home all the time and take care of the children. It was always reported that Tom was jealous of Nicole, especially of her movie rolls, and he even got bitter when she did Broadway, and he really didn't like her co-stars whom were guys, so there was a lot of jealousy lingering. Nicole divorcing Tom was the best thing she could have ever done with her life. She can now live happily with a man whom she doesn't have to compete with, and there's no jealousy there either.

Katie Holmes can't act. Don't get me wrong, I adored her on "Dawson's Creek," but seriously, what kind of role was that? She used to be youthful and happy, and now she's just some robot. You'll see her every so often do a movie, but it'll never be that good and they'll bomb like her latest flick "Mad Money." I think a lot of people would feel different about her, if her midget husband wasn't some nutjob, who constantly would shove his religion down everyone's throat.

I can think of 3 reasons why people aren't rushing to see Katie. 1. Maybe because no one has the desire to see Katie, and they think the same as the rest of us: She can't act, and Nicole Kidman can act. 2. With the way economy is going, people aren't about to shell out $300 for a ticket, and $300 to see Katie Holmes, which goes back to point #1, that she really isn't that special, and people would rather shell out $300 for someone more desirable, like Julia Roberts. 3. Maybe the Broadway play just isn't that good? ... Personally, I'm going with #1 for myself, I have no desire to see Katie, and I wouldn't spend that kind of money on her, especially when she can't act.
