Advance ticket sales for Katie Holmes' Broadway debut in All My Sons are far below those for Nicole Kidman's 1998 run in The Blue Room, the New York Post reports.

Less than $1 million in tickets for All My Sons — which begins previews in September – have been sold compared to $4 million for Kidman's Broadway stint, according to the paper.

"I've bought 1,000 tickets to the show," a broker told the Post. "I still have them."

(Neither of Tom Cruise's women topped tickets for Julia
Roberts
' 2006 show Three Days of Rain, which sold out in one day, the Post reports.)

A show rep tells Usmagazine.com: “We don’t discuss advance sales.”

Furthermore, tickets to see Kidman — who briefly appeared nude in the show — went as high as $700 while premium tickets for Holmes' show are netting $300.

"I think if she takes off her clothes, she may catch up!" a Broadway insider joked to the Post.

The paper blames lackluster sales on Cruise's declining popularity since the 1990s. Kidman's debut on Broadway coincided with the release of their controversial flick Eyes Wide Shut and he was touted on mag covers as
the biggest movie star in the world.

"People aren't shelling out $110 for a play anymore," a broker told the Post. "It doesn't matter who's in it."
