Rapper 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) was arrested this afternoon in NYC, TMZ reports. Plainclothes police officers men in an unmarked car pulled over Fiddy’s silver Lamborghini at the corner of 8th Avenue and 35th Street after he allegedly made an unsafe lane change.
Police issued 50 four tickets for an unsafe lane change, the car not being registered in this state, driving without insurance and an expired license. Fiddy was cuffed, taken to a Midtown police station and released an hour later.
The gangsta rapper was first busted by police in a high school gym class in 1994 for hiding crack vials in his sneakers. In 2002, he and members of his entourage were arrested after New York police allegedly found two loaded guns in the rapper's SUV. All five occupants of the vehicle were charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
In 2000, the rapper famously survived a brutal attack in which he was shot nine times in front of his grandparent's house in Queens, NY.

They don't have the whole story here, ya'll should read People. He had insurance and a license and registration, it just wasn't in the car. His friend brought it to the police station right after it happened. & the only reason he was taken to the station was because of the crowd that was forming due to the fame of the person being ticketed. I think he was rightfully ticketed and that's that. He's human and it's not a big deal. It's funny to me because I know he can afford it and it's proof that celebrities are not above the law. Just like with Paris and her DUI. HAHA!!

if he had no insurance on that car, it'd mean he has no insurance at all.... cuz if you bought it, you should be automatically covered if he would have called his agent, or perhaps he has no insurance or the will not insure him due to the car and his record,,,, too much of a risk. not to mention he doesn't have a valid liscense.

Hell no! I have to walk in the streets on Manhattan every day and I can assure you the worst drivers in the whole country are roaring around the streets of this city! Just yesterday, trying to cross Broadway on my way home from work I said to myself "There are a lot of very stupid people in the world and most of them are behind the wheel in New York City!" Oh, and they all drive holding cell phones to their ears even though it's illegal. I"ve had 5 major surgeries, including 3 hip replacements, because of a drunk driver so as far as I'm concerned - let Fiddy take a cab if he needs to get somewhere and give a pedestrian like me a break!
