Katherine Heigl showed off her bikini body while on a vacation with hubby Josh Kelley in Mexico Sunday.

The 29-year-old Grey's Anatomy star and the singer, 28, hit the beach, tanned and had a few drinks.

Last week, the actress sparked controversy by dropping out of the race for this year's Emmy Awards.

"I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention," Heigl said.

I was just breezing through some of these comments and all of you - whether I agree with you or not have just worn me out. What a bunch of whiney, insecure, immature and rude-natured people.

Picking apart a person via a photo is so shallow. It's one-dementional and I'm sure everyone including myself, has taken a bad photo! (Although I don't think this is a bad photo.) I mean, why do so many people care? And then take jabs at each other?

Being fit doesn't mean your thighs won't touch. And being taller doesn't mean you should always weigh more. Get over it. Haven't you ever heard of body mass ratios and muscle densitiy and nutrition?

Give Heigl a break and start working on yourselves...Her hip bones are sticking out for Christ's sake!

Giving your weight and height to determine whether you're healthy or beautiful is stupid. If you eat right and exercise you're YOUR right size. Whether that is 5'6" and 120 lbs, 140 lbs, or 110 lbs. Some people ARE naturally skinny and that's what their body wants to be. Some people ARE naturally big boned and that's what their body wants to be. I'm sick of people criticizing others either for being too fat or too thin. If someone really is too skinny or too fat then it's a real problem and not a joke, therefore it's completely insensitive and absurd to think insulting them will cure their disease.

She is quite beautiful. Nothing fat about her. These photographers wait around these people just waiting to snap an unflattering picture of a celebrity and that's all that is. She's not posing, she's not made up and she's standing in an awkward position. As the mother of a daughter who suffered an eating disorder I am here to tell you that your comments about this very beautiful woman with lovely curves being fat are not good for young girls out there. Our society puts way too much stock in the way a person looks instead of what kind of person they are on the inside.

I can't beleieve there are people here who are saying 5'6 130 is fat. I'm an athlete and the muscle in my body alone weighs 120 and I'm 5'4. If you are 5'6 115 you are too small. Lift some weights.

comments like many of these are why some of these stars and ppl in general have eating disorders. She looks healthy and physically fit. As a nurse, what I am wondering is what she would look like if she wasn't chain smoking all day.......I agree with whomever said the comment "you ppl are ruthless", so very true.

I read people criticizing models for being too skinny, then a movie star with a little bit more curves is being called FAT. come one guys, what is wrong with you? that is why we have young girls starving themselves to try to look super skinny

ummm 4:27 anonymous. I wasn't bragging. Someone was suggesting that I must be fat and old because I pointed out how chunky her legs were. I hardly think being 5'6 and 130 lbs is fat. Healthy weight for 5'6 is 118 lbs to 155 lbs.

See, that's the problem now. I don't think either one of you need to lose weight. I'm 5'9 and if I go by what the "scientific" experts say, I am suppose to be like 140 or so. I would look like a bean pole, and that is unnatractive. If you feel good and look good, that's all that matters. As long as you are not huffing and puffing trying to climb stairs, then you are fine.

LOL. I actually got nice legs. Legs are my best features. I'm still working on my stomach though, I just had a baby 3 months ago. I'm 5'6 and weighs 130 lbs and I need to lose 10 more pounds to get back to my old body. I'm not perfect, I'm just saying that I'm actually surprise to see that she got very thick, out of shape cellulite legs that's all. I thought for sure she would be skinny all over. I did compliment her tummy, you guys don't need bite my head off. Sorry if the truth hurt.

The desire to be skinny is european derived. In brasil men adore the curvaceous woman and find her really hot. The continual criticism of healthy looking women and the tabloid obsession with being thin can precipitate fatal anorexia in those who are vulnerable. Photojournalism should be more responsible.
