FACEBOOKI think this baby will be very loved and taken very good care of believe it or not. And even though Ashlee got knocked up BEFORE the marriage, at least they did get married. You can tell this baby was NOT planned because I remember Ashlee saying she had no idea that she would be getting married so soon in life. Um... why is that ? Errr didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that they were having pre-marital sex and she was pregnant so they decided to just go ahead and get married. Dont get me wrong though.. I do think they are in love.
As attention seeking as the Simpson girls are.. their worst crime is wanting to be HollyWeird Stars. They don't come from a wack job of a family like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. So Ashlee and Pete will have decent support from the Simpson family that's for sure and I think they will make decent parents. As obnoxious as Papa Joe is.. he really does care about his children and I think he and his wife will make supportive, loving, and very caring grandparents.

Pete Wentz is ready to be a papa!
"I'm excited to be a dad," he recently told E! News. "I'm a genuinely nervous person. The first time I ever went to the doctor's office and heard the heartbeat, I felt totally content and at peace with everything. It feels good."
Usmagazine.com first broke the news in April that Ashlee Simpson and Wentz were expecting.
They confirmed the news on his Web site in May, calling it "the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."
The couple wed in Los Angeles on May 17 and honeymooned in the Caribbean.

At least this couple got married, and have been together for awhile. Good luck to them.

i love pete and ash!! i dont think it matters that they were pregnant before marriage because 1. they are old enough to be able to care properly for a baby physically, mentally, and financially. 2. they have been together for more than a year, not just a couple months like most people pregnant out of wedlock 3. they will make great parents !! go ashlee and pete!!
just because he's not still a minister doesn't mean he can't marry people... in some states you don't even have to have an ordained minister to marry you...in some states, anyone can.

To the person who said "none of us can pick and choose when we are going to have children": it's called birth control. A-Simp and PeeWee totally could have used some.
She might not be showing but I didnt look prego till I was 6 months..I think it is sweet!!
I am really wondering if she is pregnant!! I see the pictures and there is no bump. I will believe it when i see the bump!!!! Other than that they are a very cute couple!!!

Seriously folks are we all so perfect that we can go on these blogs and make negative comments about any of these celebs, especially when we know nothing about them. I became a mom at 19 and then 21 and can't imagine what it would have been like to have life scrutinized the way the fans and the media do these young celebs. My kids are now 17 & 19, both honour roll students and as a family unit we are very close, but I made mistakes, I tripped when holding or walking with a child, and I did some of the silly stuff that youth causes us to do but I still ended up being a good parent. I'm sure that Ash and Pete will bet good parents as well, look at Nicole Richie, becoming a parent is sometimes life saveing for some ppl...IT WAS FOR ME!. What I see in a lot of these young celebs is they have a relationship as a couple, unlike a certain much older couple who no one sees as a couple only as parents to Mad, Z, Pax & Shi.....GOOD LUCK TO THEM BOTH AND ALL OF YOUNG HOLLYWOOD, WITH THE PRESSURE THEY ARE UNDER IT IS NO WONDER SO MANY OF THEM CRACK...HERE'S HOPING THAT THEY ARE SURROUNDED BY PPL WHO HELP THEM TO PICK UP THE PIECES NOT JUST KICK THEM AROUND

Exactly. Back in Feb/March they started speculation all on their own. And then they act like the questions about it are so out of line. I still think she wouldn't have dodged it if she wasn't trying to get publicity for her album.
For two people who pretend to want so much privacy, they sure do pimp themselves out to the tabloids a lot.

Pete and Ashlee are so obviously in love. I think they are a cute couple and they both rock. I'm a 32-year old mother of two and I love Ashlee Simpson!!!! They will make good parents and I wish them the best.

In other thoughts - I've often wondered what Pastor papa Joe thought about his baby daughter getting pregnant prior to be married - Yet, he married them in a non-denominational ceremony knowing she was pregnant all along.
