CSI star Gary Dourdan pleaded guilty to two felony possession charges of cocaine and ecstasy at his arraignment in Indio, California, on Wednesday.
The first charged against him — felony possession of heroin — was dismissed.
TMZ.com first reported the news.
The actor, 41, was ordered to complete a treatment program, at which time the charges will be dismissed, according to TMZ.
Police arrested Dourdan April 28 after they found him asleep in his car, which was parked on the wrong side of the road, in Palm Springs, Calif., in the early morning hours. After searching his vehicle, they confiscated the drugs.
In an e-mail with Access Hollywood, he initially denied the drugs belonged to him.
"I am blessed that the Sgt. realized that the luggage carrying whatever they found was not mine and that my tests have been coming back negative," Dourdan said. "I've been happy to cooperate in any way to clear myself and go on with my blessed life."

As much as I really enjoyed him on tv this is just another showing of what happens if you have money. If it was anyone else on the street, we would be in jail. No questions asked.

i applaud you for seeking help. who hasnt lied or covered-up drug use. Lets not forget about Robert Downey Jr. or Charlie Sheens past and look at how well they are doing now. Stay strong and keep faith.

When all is said and done at least he has come forward and taken responsability for his actions in the end. It's not uncommon for anyone that has drug problem to try to hide or run away from it. I for one don't think it's fair to judge others on their down falls when they have come forward and are willing to do something about it. Anyone knows its hard to admit you have a problem or that your wrong. Even if he took the deal to stay out of jail at least he will be in a place that can help him and might come out ontop. Last thing I know I don't want to see again is what happened with Heath.
