George Clooney and Sarah Larson Admit Rock of Love Obsession

Even Sarah Larson and George Clooney have their occasional guilty pleasure.
While recovering from a motorcycle accident last fall, she says they were glued to marathons of VH1's Rock of Love with Bret Michaels.
"We caught ourselves rooting for someone or getting frustrated," Sarah says in June's Harper's Bazaar. "And we were like, 'This is sad.'"
Despite dating one of Hollywood's leading men, Larson says she sees Clooney, 47, as "a normal person, like anyone else. He just happens to have a well-known face."
Attending all those award shows and premieres is "like a modeling job," she says, "smiling and greeting people."
They first met four years ago when she worked at a Las Vegas resort. She was dating someone else at the time.
Last June, they ran into each other at a premiere for Ocean's Thirteen.
"I got texts, and we just started talking," Larson recalls.
Larson — a model who once starred on NBC's Fear Factor — says she probably never would've fallen for him if he, too, had had a reality show past.
"If George had been on a reality show, I don't think I'd have talked to him," she admits. "It would have been like, 'That's nice.'
"I don't know," she adds. "He still wants to date me, and I ate a scorpion."

I don't understand this obsession with this woman. She's a NOBODY. Just a girlfriend (an ugly one) to a very well known actor, who quite frankly, seems to have a great personality, great looks for an older man, but really hasn't been "stellar" in the movies...his last movie "Leatherheads" bombed big time, and his "Ocean's 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 16 1/2, 17.." lol, are all dumb. Don't get me wrong, I like George, but we don't need to hear about his wannabe celeb girlfriend. She was never known until she got with him. Isn't that the way it always turns out with today's media? The over sensationalizing of these dumb people are annoying. Get a grip Us Magazine!

If you went to a red carpet event with your new boyfriend who's a celebrity, it wouldn't really be the time or place to launch into a discussion proving your intelligence. We haven't gotten to know Sarah at all. She could be brilliant. I highly doubt George Clooney (who yes does seem very intelligent and educated) would date someone for as long as he has with nothing but looks to offer. Face it, there are other pretty girls in Hollywood. And he could land almost anyone. Sarah must have something more to her, and it's foolish to rag on someone you've never met.

Point taken 7:16. If I'm understanding you correctly, I think you are right about all of this being a major distraction away from what we should be thinking of. I know someone who looks a lot like her and she's just not very photogenic but when you see her in person she's way above average-looking so maybe that's what's going on with Sarah, too. I also never missed one episode of either Rock of Love season 1 & Rock of Love season 2! Also, George & Sarah make a cute couple, and it's cute that their gulity pleasure was watching Rock of Love marathons, etc.

I love them and I feel their pain watching Rock of Love. It was the cheesiest show on tv but we never missed an episode. Watching the trainwreck strippers vie for Bret Michaels' attention was a guilty pleasure in our house.
