the ignorance on this article is a shame. yes i am from the hood, yes i am black and NO I HAVEN'T DECIDED WHOM I AM GOING TO VOTE FOR. but the crap that people are writing on this needs to stop. The classy thing I like about Obama is that despite what people are saying about him, he still runs his race and he inspires hope for all people. That's what I like about him as a person. But i feel it is to early in the game to decide who you are going to vote for just yet. Elections are in November, it is still April, damn near May. Obama is a racist. The only thing Obama is good at is making a speech. He sure can talk good, but he won't change America. People talk about him being the ONE to change the racists of this world.....sorry, it isn't going to work. People will not change their views. You will NEVER be able to make America a non-racist country. I wish Obama would get off it already and quite saying he can make a difference. He won't do nothing to change any point of views. I at least take time out to do my research on all candidates, and when I have a conversation about them, I don't say, "Yeah, I'm voting for them because they're cool, hello!"

It freaks me out that Obama says he's a uniter. But I never knew Black people hated America before Obama came along. I thought Black people liked America just as much as anybody. Now through Obama's people, I find out they hate America because of slavery and racism. Well OK, hate the racists, but it's not cool to hate the whole country. This was the defense Obama's people gave for the Rev. Wright's anti America remarks. They said: Oh, ALL Black people hate America. And it's OK for Obama to hate America because he's Black. But the irony is that Obama's mother was white and his father was straight from Africa, not an African American descendant of slaves. So why exactly Obama has a chip on his shoulder, I don't know. He seems to have gotten pretty far in life. Whereas Black people who haven't gotten far, you might be able to understand if they are bitter. So is it true that Black people hate America? Because I'm just saying what I have been told. Maybe they don't hate America. But that's what Obama's campaign has put forward: that Obama has a right to hate America because he's Black. So this is very divisive stuff. And his campaign also has cast doubt on whether the Clinton years were good or not, and few people, at least not Democrats, doubted they were good years before he came along. He is a very divisive figure.

For the past 6 months I have studied each candidates views and I like Obama's the most. That is my personal opinion. I am a democrat but I don't try to persuade others to vote for Obama and I have no problem listening to other people's views. I have other black friends who are voting for Hilary and McCain.
