Former Full House star Jodie Sweetin "is doing great" after welcoming daughter Zoie on Saturday, her rep tells Usmagazine.com.
The actress, 26, and her husband, set designer Cody Herpin, are "absolutely thrilled and in love" with the baby, who weighed 8 lbs., 7 oz.
When it came to naming her girl, Sweetin told Us she wanted "something different, something cute and girly, but not too girly – a little funky."
Sweetin told Us she couldn't have gotten through her pregnancy without her husband, 30, whom she wed last July.
"He goes and gets me all my little cravings, like my frozen chicken pot pies, and he cooks dinner for me and cleans up the house because I’m exhausted all the time!" she told Us during her pregnancy. (See other stars' bumps here.)
Sweetin, a former meth addict, hopes to impart the lessons she's learned in life on her new daughter.
"I had to learn to just be comfortable in my own skin," she told Us. "So I hope she’ll learn that a little bit sooner.
"To just be yourself ... that was probably the hardest thing for me that I didn’t learn until I was in my early twenties."

Why cant you people say things nice about someone who has come so far and cleaned up their life. Pray for her, the baby and her husband that they can be happy and well. Happiness and love that is what it is about not how much money you have or what you are doing today as as "star". All those so call "stars" may look happy on the outside to you but you best believe that money does not buy happiness it only buys material things and when you close your eyes it does not go with you you. The most important things are love for each other, peace, joy and joy. Jodie I wish you and your family all the best and you gave your daughter a beautiful name. Dont you worry about anything you have become a beautiful young woman, mother and wife best wishes to you.

BIG thing going around is..........american idol stars kristy lee cook and david archuletah have a THING going on. this has been talked about all over the place. weird because she's older than him but nothing would surprise me. all the david archuletah fans aren't happy about this ESPECIALLY the girls.
another thing going around is kristy lee cook NEVER sold her horse. this was a story used as a sympathy ploy so people would like her and keep her on the show. she has tons of horses *she lives on a ranch* and out of all the horses she sells hers? she has money by the way. her parents are NOT broke. kristy's whole family lives quite well. lets just say they're rich. cat got out of the bag that kristy prepares herself to be in the bottom 3 but she knows she'll be okay. she's quite smug. she knows her brother in-law has a lot of friends and they vote a lot. just some information for all your american idol lovers.

She was such a cute little girl and now she is a gorgeous woman. She looked fantastic pregnant too. It is something to celebrate when someone can overcome an addiction. She is to be commended. Best wishes to Jodie and her husband for a long happy life together with their new daughter. Oh and I think the name is just as she described it, suits her desires perfectly.
