In response to "anonymous", poor people (and all people) will be helped by Obama because if poor people are finally given the health coverage they need, we will be a healthier society. If people can get regular checkups and have preventative care, then they will be more productive -- meaning a richer, stronger and healthier America! Right now, so many people do not have proper health insurance, so they do not get medical treatment until they are deathly ill and then guess what happens... they go to the ER (where the medical bill is astronomical) and then they pay out of pocket (and become bankrupt) or they do not pay and the burden gets passed on to everyone else. This current system is crippling us and hurting these poor individuals! And by the way, get the facts, under Obama's plan taxes will increase for those people who make over $250,000 a year income - not poor or middle class folks. Vote Obama!

The latest Hills star to endorse a presidential candidate? Brody Jenner.
But unlike feminist hero Heidi Montag (who is rooting for John McCain), Jenner, 24, wants a Democrat in office.
His pick: Barack Obama.
"He's just cool!" Jenner tells E! "I mean, he's young, and I think people would take us more seriously with Iraq and everything."
But Jenner wouldn't complain if Hillary Clinton won.
"Personally, I think we’re either going to have a woman president, or we’re going to have a black president, which are both amazing," he says.
"Right now it’s time for change," he adds, "and I think both of them are great, but Obama is cool."

Can anyone explain how voting Democrat and raising taxes will possibly help women, blacks, young people etc? Does anyone possibly think the Government is too small? Why do people think that they are entitled to receive other peoples money by force which is what bureaucratic collection is? Anyone who votes for Obama is voting to raise taxes on middle class black people.
OMG, this is HUUUUGE!!
It would be soooo AWSOME if Brody could get Barak 2 be on The Hills!!!
He's probably just saying that to ease the fire his girlfriend built when she using racist terms recently that were caught on video.
Yes, Brody Jenner is such a mental giant, I have absolute confidence in his opinions! NOT! What a joke. Who cares who these self-indulgent celebrities support for president?? No one I know cares. I have a mind of my own, and don't need some snotty nothing to tell me how to think.
Hmmm... there's no need for him to support obama this way. Obama is the greatest with or without his support. I've seen obama get support from the wealthy group at the wealthy men club "million airecupid", c o m. He is witty, and friendly.
Hey Broady you wouldn't know cool if it took your girl in the back bedroom at a Hollywood party and banged her right under your nose.
Go Brody! Obama should be president!!!!!
Note to celebrities: Nobody cares what you think. You are for the most part, clueless and uninformed.
Note to candidates: Nobody believes what you say. You are for the most part, liars and hypocrites.
Good for him. At least he's getting involved in the political process. We need more young people like....Oh who am I kidding? He's probably not even registered to vote!
Barack Obama is in trouble right now because he said that people from small towns are "bitter and cling to" religion, guns, anti-immigrant sentiment, and anti-free trade because they lost their jobs 25 years ago. He is an elitist who looks down on the American people.
OMG i absolutly love BOTH of them..
especially brody =P
**we will be married someday he just doesnt know it yet =]
BIG thing going around is..........american idol stars kristy lee cook and david archuletah have a THING going on. this has been talked about all over the place. weird because she's older than him but nothing would surprise me. all the david archuletah fans aren't happy about this ESPECIALLY the girls.
another thing going around is kristy lee cook NEVER sold her horse. this was a story used as a sympathy ploy so people would like her and keep her on the show. she has tons of horses *she lives on a ranch* and out of all the horses she sells hers? she has money by the way. her parents are NOT broke. kristy's whole family lives quite well. lets just say they're rich. cat got out of the bag that kristy prepares herself to be in the bottom 3 but she knows she'll be okay. she's quite smug. she knows her brother in-law has a lot of friends and they vote a lot. just some information for all your american idol lovers.
Seriously why do they even ask "wannabe" celebrities questions like these. These people live in fancy houses, have lot's of money and no clue what is really going on in the world around them. Was he drunk when they asked him about who he was supporting for president: What people take us more seriously if Obama is president?
Ashley at 6:03... you call republicans ignorant. I understand that it is the liberal way to call republicans names,(example the petty stuff going on between the democrate nominations now) but how about you present us with facts rather than pointing the finger and name calling. maybe then people will take you seriously along with all other liberals. please explain why you are so quick to name call us. in other words present the facts if you can.
Whatever, that's his choice, but who cares!? Also, Ashton's brother, Michael, in the picture with his brother, didn't look like he had cerebal palsy or a hearing aid, though we probably couldn't see it, etc.
Who will Justin Bobby back for president??? The American public wants to know! LOL. I shouldn't joke about this. Us Magazine will probably post this as a "top story."
Must be a slow news day.
Yes, let Barack Obama become Presidemt, too bad he will probably be assasinated probably soon right after! We defintely see many Wites, Jews, Asians, Latinos and even Arabs not allow a racist loser to be our next President.
i think its best for all of america if we do not put another republican in office this soon...they all r just money hungry ignorant ppl who dont care about anything but money...please rethink ur decisions befor u cast ur vote...
5:03, wasn't freedom of religion a cornerstone value in the foundation of America?
4:46 PM MzAmber Says:
Why do some of you people assume that voters for Mr. Obama lack Education? And that we are voting for him because it's the "cool thing to do"? Why do you also assume that we are not making an informed decision just because it's not the traditional decision or the same as yours? I have done alot of research as I'm sure others have as well. I'm not a follower and I'm not going to vote for someone because it's the "popular thing to do." I was familiar with Mr. Obama before he announced his candidacy and I will be voting for him. I like Mr. Obama and what he is striving for, a better America!

I also made the comment at 4:26 and no one is assuming that ALL voters for Obama are uneducated or doing it because it is "cool". My statement only said that about Brody, because of his comments above. Did you even read the article??? No one is making generalizations except for you. And for the record, I support Obama. But I researched my vote like you did and put great care into making the decision. Unlike Brody who literally voted for Obama because he is cool.
5:03 p.m. All I can say is WOW! There really are idiots out there like you in the world. (Who don't do their research but believe everything they see on television to be truth.) Please turn off your television and do some more reasearch. You'll thank me and you'll be a better American.
I agree that it is good that he is saying he is going to vote...b/c whether we want to believe it or not, as sad as it is, people on TV do have a big influence on young adults today...so in that sense its good that he is putting it out there that he is going to vote, he just didn't give rational reasons on why he is voting for him. I wont be voting for Barack Obama b/c I have seen countless pictures of him at rallies and such and when the pledge of allegiance is being said or the national anthem is being played he just stands there like an unpatriotic idiot, instead of putting his hand over his heart. With our country being at the place that it is do we really want someone in office that is not patriotic and loves this country? Do we want someone in office that grew up with Muslim parents? The very people that believe that religion are the ones that sent planes into two buildings that killed well over the amount of people that have died in the war, in alot less time than the 7 years the war has been going on.(Not to mention people in the service sign up KNOWING that there is a chance that they will have to go to war and that possibly they are dying for their country. But they do it out of pride and love for this country, so that you can get on this website and freely express yourself!) Not to mention he has (whether he wants to admit it or not) close ties with a racist preacher?? Is this who we want to represent us? Really? Think about it people!! Our future may very well depend on it!
Brody Jenner knows how to read? I'm shocked!
I could care less who any celebrity backs. My vote will be based on my research and personal outlook of the individual and so should all of yours. It makes no difference who these "stars" are backing, they are no better than the rest of us.
I cant believe you all are having serious political debates on an US Weekly site. He said what he said and he has the right to say it..what good does insulting him or the candidates do....
4:26 - you're right, from his statment he does not seem to have researched his opinions quite well. The sad thing is that there are many more American's that do the same thing.
Even worse, some get caught up in the hype to vote and they just do the "en-ne-me-ne-mi-ni-mo" thing!!
4:18 PM Dee Dee, I think why people are upset is because he is not an EDUCATED voter (and I don't mean college educated, I mean he isn't researching his vote). You can tell by his statement, he hasn't put ANY thought into his vote. That is dangerous to a Democracy and I do not think "voting for the coolest candidate" is setting a good example.
