Spencer Pratt Bio Bio

The son of a celebrity dentist, Los Angeles drama king Spencer Pratt's claim to fame is his role on the MTV reality series The Hills. Former best bud to Hollywood playboy Brody Jenner, he is now known as star Heidi Montag's nagging boyfriend. Although Montag's former Hills besties can't stand him, the show just wouldn't be as entertaining without Pratt's devilish antics. The wealthy bad-boy has recently made many headlines due to his tumultuous relationship with Montag and humorously false rumors that he was receiving calf implants to fix his "too skinny" legs. Pratt was rated a top villain of reality television, according to a June 2008 issue of TV Guide.

Love

Pratt has been in a relationship with Montag since September 2006. In May 2007, the couple announced their engagement. However, after much criticism from the public, Montag's grave uncertainties, and Pratt's refusal to have the "princess" wedding Montag desired, the duo called the engagement off in December 2007. Pratt told Montag: "I just get stressed out when I think of the big production [of a wedding] when all I want to do is marry you." After a self-proclaimed "relationship vacation," the duo is back on the wedding bandwagon after a weekend reconciliation in Mexico. With a brand new engagement ring in hand, the two plan for a smaller wedding complete with Montag performing her own song for Pratt.

Career

Pratt studied business at University of Southern California. Now, he serves as the CEO of Innovator Management, whose clientele includes none other than Montag herself. Pratt also experimented with directing when he helped to produce girlfriend Montag's music video "Higher," which was set to pave the way for Montag's music career. The video – and single – flopped. The couple is now working on their second project: the creation of a video game, set for release in 2009. And it's not for the faint of heart: "There's going to be two versions: the adult version and the one for minors," Pratt tells Us. Pratt will continue to appear on The Hills in the upcoming extended third season. As a key player, Pratt will battle with not one, but two women. As he tries to sort things out with Montag over a "wrong" he committed, he also argues with his sister, Stephanie, who has attempted to forge a relationship with Queen Bee Lauren Conrad, Montag's former sidekick and his ultimate nemesis. In March 2008, Pratt debuted his new advice column for Radarmagazine.
