Dannielynn has been named the sole heir to Anna Nicole Smith's estate, a Los Angeles judge declared today.
Last October, Smith's attorney and companion Howard K. Stern (the executor of her estate) filed papers seeking to clarify intentions in Smith's 2001 will, which was drafted five years before her daughter's birth.
"Anna Nicole never intended to disinherit her daughter," a lawyer for Stern said after today's ruling, the Associated Press reports. "I'm pleased to say this chapter in the saga is closed."
A judge also established a trust on the 18-month-old's behalf, with Stern and Dannielynn's father, Larry Birkhead, acting as co-trustees.
Dannielynn — who recently underwent eye surgery — could still inherit millions of dollars from the estate of Smith's second husband, billionaire J. Howard Marshall. That case is currently in litigation in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

It's nice to see these two men working together to take care of that beautiful little girl..
I have no doubt her momma is smiling down on her.. she (Anna Nicole Smith) may have had her issues. and we all know she did.. but she loved her kids.
It's good to know that baby is being looked out for..

It's nice that the courts can actually see that an innocent child is involved who has no idea of everything that has occured. I am so glad that Dannielynn has two men in her life that are making sure she is well taken care of... I believe the love of these two is almost comparable to that of her own mother.

Yay, Dannielynn deserves to be named sole heir to her mom, Anna Nicole Smith's Estate, and it's great that she could inherit millions of dollars from Anna's late husband! And, it's a good thing Larry Birkhead & Howard K. Stern were named co-trustees of the estate! You go boys & girl. I'm glad Dannielynn is doing well after eye surgery.
