She didn't win the suit b/c she proved she isn't too thin, she won the suit b/c the comments were slanderous and false (read the title).

Telling someone they're too thin is the Same thing as telling someone they're too fat, but society doesn't generally view being thin to be a bad thing so they scoff when thin folks get upset about comments towards their weight.

Think of it this way . . . would you tell an overweight person they should eat less? Hell no, you'd get reamed for it. So why is it okay to tell a thin person they shoudl eat more?!

Kate is too wonderful as a human to have the world speculate over her weight. Use the energy for something useful... donate blood.

Umm if you just looked closer you would see that Kate is wearing a slip, its cream colored and almost matches her skin. Kate Hudson is gorgeous and not too thin at all

no, i think she looks quite healthy. there is a big difference between being naturally thin and being ill looking like some of the actresses. people like nicole ritchie, kate bosworth, kiera knightly, those girls are far too thin, and it's not a natural kind of thin. my heart goes out to those girls too afraid to eat for fear of not getting jobs. it's sad to see them lauded for being dangerously thin. there is something wrong with people who tell them they look great, because they don't, they look wretched. it's a type of thin that almost makes one feel like they are going to convulse looking at them. i know that sounds terribly mean, but i don't mean it to be. i am honestly frightened for their well-being and hope they seek medical attention. I wish hollywood would stop that insane drive to be stick thin. most people are NOT that way, so why can't they accept people for how they normally are and not make people feel like blobs if they wear a size 4? and on top of that, if a woman wears a size 28, why can't they accept her for that? people are so quick to bash others, and that is what leads to these deadly eating disorders. kate is a beautiful young woman, healthy and apparantly very happy, y'all should leave well enough alone for God's sake!

I'm so glad that Kate won that lawsuit because the court system is not bogged down at all with frivolous lawsuits. Now she will be able to feed her family because she only makes a few million dollars for her movies. Maybe now she can buy a haircut for her little boy and some decent clothes. She needs to grow up!!
