Angelina Jolie to Debut Two Films at Cannes Next Month

Roll out the red carpet for Angelina Jolie: Two of her films will debut at the 61st Cannes Film Festival next month.

Her 1920s kidnap thriller, Changeling (directed by Clint Eastwood), is already building buzz to take home the top prize, the Palme d’Or, according to Variety.

Eastwood will compete against 19 directors – including Steven Soderbergh, who will debut his Che Guevara flick, The Argentine, starring Benicio Del Toro.

Out-of-competition, Jolie's animated adventure, Kung Fu Panda — featuring Jack Black — will hit the fest.

Also premiering: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Woody Allen’s new Spanish comedy, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, starring real-life loves Penelope Cruz and Javiar Bardem.

This isn't Jolie's first Cannes outing.

Last year, she and beau Brad Pitt got cozy as they debuted A Might Heart, and he premiered Ocean's 13. (See photos from their trip here.)

This year's festival takes place May 14-25 in the south of France.

With all the buzz about Jennifer Aniston's involvement with John Mayer, it's not surprising a number of the actress' closest friends -- including the ones from "Friends" -- are concerned.

"It's not that we don't like John, it's just that he does have that reputation as something of a serial dater who never sticks with one woman very long,'' said a close buddy of Aniston.

News of a romance between John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston broke last month when the Miami Herald spotted the duo acting "all cozy" during lunch at a restaurant there. Aniston was in Florida filming "Marley & Me." In Touch reported Mayer checked into the Four Seasons hotel but spent hardly any time there, hanging out instead at Aniston's suite at the Mandarin Oriental.
No question about it, the singer has been linked to a long list of stars, including the Pussycats Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger, Jessica Simpson and Cameron Diaz -- with whom he's remained so close, he attended her dad, Emilio's, recent funeral.

Aniston herself reportedly is worried -- mainly because she really likes Mayer. "It wouldn't be a big deal if this was just a casual thing,'' said the friend. "But Jen isn't into 'casual'. ... She wants a real, solid, genuine relationship.''

STILL OBSESSED: Then there's this new development: Just when we thought Aniston had let go of the Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt thing, recent press coverage of Brangelina being in the South of France "has made Jen brood about all that all over again,'' another Aniston source told me Tuesday.

Playing with a four-years old on a beach is immoral to you? Both Brad and Angelina said they talked about whether they should be together for a long time before they decided to give it a go. Angelina said she almost rejected him because of her concerns about the media frenzy Brad always draws. How do you know they were together, as a couple, in 4/05? If Jen didn't want her man to move on she shouldn't have separated with him and filed a Petition for Divorce that said under penalty of perjury that they had irreconcilable differences. Actually the Pitt/Aniston divorce was prettyy quiet until the Vanity Fair interview came out in August '05 (not! 6 months.) Jen probably did the sit-downs in June and July '05. The interviewer obviously has a negative, sneering slant to take regarding Angelina, but Jen could have corrected her. Jen knew that Brad hadn't cheated on her before they separated, but she left AJ/BP to twist in the wind. Would you trust her again? Brad won't! Everyone knows both Brad and Angelina are not cheaters and are very, very monogamous. Why would anyone in Hollywood, who knows Brad (i.e. the owner of CAA, Brillstein-Grey, the chief of Paramount, Coen Bros., Soderbergh, Malick, Fincher, Eastwood, Clooney, Glazer, Katzenberg,) want to associate with Jen after that? She is C-List now and headed South. Check out the STAR-meter. It is a real shame because she had a terrific chance to take the high road and bailed.

Girl, put down the tabs. Grazia magazine is a well-known UK tab, almost as bad as the US National Enquirer. They make up stories, one of which is this so-called interview with James Haven. Angelina has always been listed as a co-host of this pre-Oscar party, but she has never attended, and Brad, despite being listed as co-host every year, has only attended twice. Besides, what idiot would meet at such a public place for such a "showdown" that the tabs were salivating for? It was only the tabs and papz who said that Angie and Brad would attend, and then backed out of, that party.

that is directly from the VF interview. it doesnt say she is taking 2%, she using it as an example of saying no matter how much is your fault you can only focus on yourself. it does not say 2% is mine and 98% is brads.

Jen said that 2% bit in her VF interview. Angie said the quote about it feeling like something they should do in her Vogue interview from the Fall of 2006. She was referring to March/April 2005 when she and Brad were deciding to go ahead and act on their feelings. Brad's divorce was filed and Brad had not lived with Jen for months by that time. She said that Maddox calling him "Dad" one day when they were playing with cars sealed the deal for her because she wasn't going to let it go any further unless Maddox was comfortable. You have to read the whole interview to understand what she was talking about.

vince never cheated on her and at the time they did the interview they could have been together still. and she did not imply brad cheated all she said was i believe him. and on oprah she didnt even mention brads name or angie all she kept saying was i'm good i just want everyone to move on. turn the page. thats what she said. and it was in an interview with good moring america she was talking about that her and brad still talk and that its peaceful and she wishes him well. spot twisting it around. she wasnt trying to make brad look bad. they had just separated and she was talking to make everyone shut up. of course she would be upsest when the marraige ended but she was telling people she was moving on and that she still loved him, but she was never putting the blame anywere. and why talk about why it ended. the point is she wasnt putting it on him or angie. stop twisting things.

She said "I choose to believe my husband" heavily implying that he was lying, but oh, I'm just so innocent I'm going to believe him. She was far from emphatic about his innocence, and she downright implied he was lying. The way that interview was put together it was designed to make Brad look like a cad and Angie like a homewrecker, which of course, it did. She did the same damn thing on Oprah, sitting there like a friggin' wounded lamb. She said she only was taking 2% of the blame. 2%! WTH? And I have never seen anything that even remotely comes close to her "wishing him well". You're going to have to provide a link for that, because I flat do not believe it.

Speaking of Oprah, Jen liked right to her face about Vince Vaughn. "Oh no, we are still together, Oprah", batting her eyes like some kind of cow, then boom the next week Splitsville. Liar. And what about Vince? He's the one who cheated on her, and with some random college ho, too. Yet Loonifers NEVER mention THAT.
