Angelina Jolie nabbed a best actress 2008 Film Independent Spirit Award nomination for her role as Mariane Pearl in A Mighty Heart. The film — which Brad Pitt produced — also got a best feature nod.

Speaking of review s did you know Angie got rave reviewsf from respected critcs including ET weekly for AMH. Not only she desrerve to win sprit award but also Golden glob, sag and oscar. I love to congradulae Brad as a producer also. Since A year of the dog is nominated for screen play too. Double congrats for him. Every other movie he co produced win or nominate for big award for something all the time.I think he have got a good taste.

Juno and I'm not there are getting a lot of oscar buzz, but this award has nothing to do with the oscars so there is a chance that another movie might win this award. The fact that they nominated I'm not there in several categories is a good sign for this film to get this award, even if Juno has better reviews so far.
As for the actresses Page is currently front runner in most of the oscar websites along with Cotillard, but again this award has nothing to do with the oscars since this award only considers small budget films.
I think Blanchett has the greatest chance of win this award and getting oscar and golden globe nods as a supporting actress.

I love cate blanchet. I did not see I am not there yet since it is in limited realise but I know she is a great actress I would like to see her winning for supporting actress. I saw Amh Angelina is good in it. She more likely going to win for best actress. I loved juno it might win for the best feature.
