It is really sad what happened to Dr. West, after losing my mom to Cancer a year ago I know how much pain he is in. What is even sadder is the fact that of all the docotors in the world with all the money she has...she could have gotten a better doctor. Plus she had cosmetic surgery, not a surgery she really needed. Let this be a lesson people. God made you perfect and this Hollywood...lets all look like plastic people with big boobs...fake lips.. strectched faces thing should be let go!

There are a lot of inconsiderate, insensitive, ignorant,shallow a**holes on here. This is a sad tragedy! No matter who it is or who's mother it is.This woman has lost her life and some of you have the nerve to crack jokes. This is a problem everywhere, & everyday. 200 ppl die a yr from failed plastic surgeries, whether due to the phsicians mistakes or bad judgements, infectons, or the client's failure to give complete medical history, whether intentionally or unknowingly. Everyone should know if you have anykind of surgery esp. when you are put to sleep you are taking a great chance, of one of many side effects,consequences, and even a possibility of death. If you would watch news, informative, and even talk shows,you would see that there are many people with surgeries gone bad that actually gets to tell their story and those who were not as fortunate to talk about it have family who does so.So stop hating on her and her son's celebrity status. Have some respect and look way deep down in that empty shell you call a heart and have some compassion. I do believe to just wait to see what the autopsy say before jumping in conclusion. Even though there are many Doctors doing preceedures in their offices that they are not even trained to do. and Oprah had a show on that, as well as surgeries gone bad and that went good. And why you have to be insecure or vain because you have cosmetic surgeries. If that's what would make you happy, then do it , f*#* what everyone else have to say, You don't need anyones approval but your doctor. Anyway thay probably jealous anyway cause they can't afford it. My condolences to Kanye and his family. I know what it's feels like to loose a mother you were xtremely close to. Just take one day at a time. You have most of the world's support except for the few retards on here.

i think too many people are passing judgement on this doctor too quickly. we dont exactly know the cause of kanye's mother death, so until then we as people shouldnt be so harsh and pass judgement. because if it does come out that she didndt die because of something the doctor did his career is over from the backlash

Why are people so vicious. Kanye West has lost his mother. And not only that they were very close. They did not pretend to be close, they were close. What if it was your mother or your loved one. Not once have I heard any kind of symmpathy. Just the hate that always comes out in these situations. Ultimately the Doctor is responsible. If Donda West knew all the risks it is highly unlikely she would have continued. We have all been in situations where one professional has told us one thing and another has told us something to the contrary. We are flooded with pictures of "stars" who have had such surgeries.

This is what all you vain dumba$$es get for going under the knife. Don't mess with what God gave you. He knows what He's doing.

I think the moral of the story here folks is don’t get plastic surgery unless it is medically necessary. Don’t be vain…

Hopefully this will be a wake up call for people to do more research and also to consider their own personal health issues.

Malpractice suits do not mean anything. Many doctors have them for no apparent reason, simply because this country likes to sue. The issue here is that it was Dr. Adams responsibility to make sure that his patient was stable enough to have surgery. If he would have performed a stress test or done any other medical reviews he would have seen that she should not have had the surgery, and not performed it because she was Kanye West's mother and it would give him great publicity.

She should have worried about fixing her teeth first, never mind the body.

You have to put some responsibility on Donda. She herself knew she wasn't cleared for surgery and went through with it anyways, she didn't deserve what happened to her by any means, but if you are not cleared for surgery, there has to be a good reason for that and patients need to be responsible for their own body and health. Although it does sadden me for Kayne and his family over this loss, we all need to keep in mind how dangerous plastic surgery can be. Dr. Jan should have never operated on her, once the autopsy comes back if it falls on him, he needs to take responsibility for it.

I work for a plastic surgeon and what people dont understand is that there is a possibility of DEATH w any surgery you have! Most doctors have malpractice suits against, 2 is nothing unheard of. Dr Adams has performed thousands of succesful surgeries on ppl. Kanyes mother was turned down by 2 other surgeons bc of her condition, when she came in for her consoltation w dr adams she did NOT tell him about her pre existing heart condition. That is her fault and she paid for it w her life.
