Kids learn so much more when they get to travel and see the world, meet different people and they acquire confidence in the process.
Rather than staying put in one place and having Mom or Dad travel for work and being absent for long periods, Maddox gets to travel with both his Mom and Dad. That's what counts....the family being together, sharing and experiencing together.
We all know that most folks cannot afford to take their families with them, but in Brad and Angie's case, they are doing the right thing. Kids benefit from seeing the world as do adults.

Why is it when Jen was looking into NY the skankelina shows up there now they are going to CA and Jen to NY. I despise Jolie she is a serious mental case and the kids are her pawns. As for Brad hes dilusional and stupid, he will see but it will be too late for his career, his child and he will be too old! LOL! Karma

Stop comparing the experiences of a military family with these two ridiculous people. Two totally different worlds. For one, Brangelina moves far more often than an average military family. Second, military families actually serve their country, while Angelina goes around and bad-mouths the U.S. behind our back to suck up to her UN buddies.

I am a Military wife. 32 yrs. 44 moves..around the USA and overseas.
My 4 kids…all ended up with 2 Masters Degrees and full lives..normal. Their Father was a flyer. The 3 boys all are Military flyers..so they must have had something they loved…

The one constant in any kids life is his parents. It does not matter which hotel, motel or new town you are in..its the parents that put it all together for them.

If the parents have it "together" then the rest will fall into place.

I knew someone who did their best for their kids. Never mingle with other people & stays home most of the time but their offspring turns out to be a big pain the neck. So having a busy life does not mean a bad life for kids & them turning a trouble-maker.

Singer Bryan Adams used to live in different countries since his father is a diplomat. He moved to different countries from Asia to the Middle East. And he said he’s so grateful that he got to experience those different cultures from around the world, he turned out tolerant & accepting of other peoples beliefs, race, culture, etc.

I think the more you stay put in one place the more you become close-minded & xenophobic. It’s a big world out there, explore it & enjoy it!

I know I’m late to the Child Rearing discussion…So, since this is a public gossip blog, I truly believe that everyone here is entitled to express his/her opinion (positive or negative without vulgarity and threats). And therefore, here’s my take on it….

Your child rearing expertise is yours to apply as you wish, but it may not yield practices that will benefit all families, although they may work for some. It is highly arrogant to presume to judge the family of a stranger. There is no simple truth about family dynamic - Each family represents a compromise, constructed by all its members, based on each of their interests. Just as there are no two people alike, or no two snowflakes alike, let us beware of pontificating and splatting platitudes in forums, excuse me fora, such as this…

if she's going to be moving around as much as she is, then instead of constantly changing her kids in and out of schools, she needs to hire a private teacher and home school them. she could always get them involved in extracurricular activities for socialization, but it's ridiculous to have them start a school and stop going there so quickly. in the end, they will always feel like they could never really make solid relationships outside of she and brad and the rest of the gang they adopt.

these two are hollywood specticles, the photogs follow them for the same reason they follow Britney Spears. These fools are their cash cows. I for one wish these two would leave the US and never return. They don't bring anything positive to the world. They are selfish pieces of crap. They are not loved. If this was anyone other then them they would have their children taken away by child welfare workers. They use their children as props and one day these children will grow up and read all about their parents.

People will continue to despise Brangelina because of their hypocricy. Even if their past is irrelevent now, just take a look at what HYPOCRITES they are. Angelina announced she was taking a year off to help Pax adjust to his new life, and DIDN'T. She sold his pics to a rag after she said, "I wish I never brought him into this life." She and Brad say their family comes FIRST, yet they continue to drag the kids from place to place, pulling them out of any stability they might have found for just a moment in order to pursue their careers. Brad has been a "champion" of environmental causes, yet he rents out a 6,000 sf penthouse in NYC for 2 adults and 4 children. I'm thinking that the waste of electricity isn't that environmentally friendly. They say they feel bad that their children have been raised with paparazzi waiting for them whenever they step outside and think of it as "normal", but they have done nothing to remove themselves from the spotlight they crave in order to make the kids lives normal. Angelina donates money to causes simply because she wants the publicity. She does not have a publicist on her payroll, and donating money to charity for publicity eliminates the need for one. She says her family is the most important thing in her life, yet she can't make peace with her own father. These two publicity wh0res are selfish and self-important. It's sad that they mistake all the attention from the paparazzi as a sign of their popularity and wanted by their admirers. Their movies are bombing because it is a direct reflection of how the public feels about them. They're as delusional as Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and are deservedly grouped together with them as spectacles and morons.

While I am not a celebrity,I do personally know the downside of moving frequently with a school aged child.My husband would take printing jobs all over the U.S. We have moved 12 times since our son was born and then started school,living in places anywhere from 6 months to a year.It is VERY difficult for a small kid to try and adjust to a situation like this!I don't care if your a celebrity or working middle class america,moving kids around like that is NOT A GOOD THING!Poor Madd,I really sympathize for him!
