Michael Lohan refused to comment on his recent reunion with daughter Lindsay after three years of estrangement, so Usmagazine.com asked body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass to analyze the pair’s interaction as they reconnected on the grounds of the Cirque Lodge rehabilitation center in rural Utah.
According to Dr. Glass, the Lohans started by taking it slow.
“At first she’s kind of leery and it shows,” she says. “She’s very stiff and her shoulders are rounded, her head is down. She’s unsure of herself."
Dr. Glass points out that the 21-year-old actress appears very childlike in the top photo taken on September 6. “She’s kind of regressed into that little girl instead of all that bravado,” she says. “He’s reaching out to her. She’s going to wait and see what he has to say.”
Well, apparently a lot can happen in three days. By September 9, the father and daughter appeared to be on better terms.
“She’s got her arms around him, and she’s holding the flower kind of like it’s a peace offering. I think they’re totally bonded,” says Dr. Glass.
“They’ve totally thrown all their past and all the hatred behind them and both made amends with each other.”
She added: “This is the start of a new life for both of them.”

It makes me happy to see that her father went to so much effort to try to reconnect with her. I do think however that it will take more than 3 days to undo so much that he has missed in her life. I do however want to wish them good luck and many prayers. I wish though that her mom would back out of the picture a little bit. She is no longer allowed to control Lindz and the sooner she sees that the better

How can anyone say she has talent? She sucks as an actress and singer. I saw Georgia Rules a few weeks ago and Lindsay was awful. Her breast implants and crazy lifestyle are what makes her famous not her so called talent.

Did you see the body language review of the picture of Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani with their kid? If you look carefully at the picture it's the EXACT same pose the kid is making with both parents except Gavins is caught from the side view to show off the leaning forward he is doing and it's from the front view on Gwen so it doesn't show it as much? But litterally it's the exact same pose just different angles.

Ok here is the truth about me. I have no friends and instead of working all day like I get paid to do I go on this site and talk with all of you. I consider you guys my only friends and this site is my life. I am obsessed with everything about it! If you have a problem with me being on this site that is fine but please don't bash me on it. It hurts my feelings. I let everyone else discuss what they want please just do the same for me. Again I consider you all my very best friends and I don't want this friendship to end anytime soon. Well, this is one trainwreck I truly hopes can get on track. Unlike Britney/Paris/Nicole, she does have a skill other than partying. I just hope the next time she gets in front of a mic, there won't be a band backing her up. She needs to stick to acting.

I think if this isnt purely photop then good for Linds and her dad. To be in an intense program like this one, one must be dedicated and dedicated to solving all past problems, including ones that involve family. If shes truly focus on sobreity I say good luck and wish her the best!

Haha! Hi Jolee! I've gotten of the Sherdog site to check out what my imposter has been up to this weekend. lol! Yeah, the only post on this thread from me was the 5:26 one. Someone just loves posting stuff under my name...obsess much????? Whatever, most people who know me know that I don't write like that.
I honestly DO wish Lindsay luck in reconciling with her father. I hope she is able to get her sh!t together and is able to make something of her life. It really is awful to see so many fricked up families these days though...it reminds me how grateful I am for my fam!

Just know your Dad is looking down on you smiling and life will never be the same but it's not so bad. Be grateful you had a loving father even for a short time.
