Nicole Richie’s rep is denying reports that the Simple Life star has entered a rehabilitative treatment center.
"She is not in rehab,” the rep tells Usmagazine.com. “She is at home in Glendale. Sobriety is an ongoing process but she is sober."
Last December, Richie, 25, was arrested and later charged with a DUI after she was found driving the wrong way down a California highway.
In 2002, Richie was given three years probation for a DUI conviction and had her license suspended for one year. Six months later, she was arrested for possession of heroin and for driving with a suspended license.
The incident prompted Richie to enter a drug-diversion program.
"I was like a trash can—I took everything," she later explained on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
She told the talk show host that her downward spiral into drug abuse was prompted by her parents’ divorce."I was definitely trying to mask hurt, abandonment," she said. "I had no idea I was feeling this way."
Richie’s rep confirms that the reality star continues to visit her therapist at the center where she was originally treated for her addiction.
She is due in court on June 8 for a pretrial hearing regarding last year's DUI.

We do not care about her eating and drugproblem, let's be clear about that!! the thing is, she is an example for teenage girls who really want to look the same...and we all know that teenage girls are not grown-ups yet and do not think about the consequences... how they live their lives?? we coulnd't care less, but you want to be a celeb? you have got to deal with the fact that people want to know everything about you otherwise choose another job!!

People should just leave Nicole alone already! I am giving her the benefit of the doubt (as should everybody else). If she says that she does not have an eating disorder, then let's just believe her. If she really does have a problem, let her tell us... so stop attacking her! Let her and her family deal with it (if there is a problem).

Yes, it's not unusual for her to be going to trial now. That was in December and that is normal because you get extensions. Doesn't mean she's getting away with anything special. There are the classes EVERYONE has to take (even Paris and Nicole!!), the days of community service and the fines. You have a long time to pay the fines.

WTF...she is just NOW going to trial, sorry, PRETRIAL for her DUI? Can someone explain that to me, does it usually take the CA justice dept system that long to handle someone's DUI? I thought most people went to jail right away or paid fines.

everyone needs to leave nicole alone, just because she's a celebrity and has millions doesnt mean her life is easy. theres plenty of drug addicts out there and are you harsh on them? no because you dont know them and chances are you feel sorry for them but because you "know" her she gets bashed for it? Im anorexic and IF nicole was anorexic she doesnt deserve to be criticized for it.. its a disease you cant help it.. would you make fun of someone with cancer?

I was hoping she WAS in rehab. She obviously has a drug problem and eating disorder. She has been on drugs for 12 years, so rehab is probably the only way she can quit.
